Yeah, Reapers really are fast. I've sometimes completed Arrival before the Collector Base - which has the Reapers arrive inside the galaxy before they are shown arriving outside the galaxy. They're so fast that they went back in time!!

OT: I'm hoping for some kind of ultra-relay. It that's what the Pathfinder symbol is, great. But honestly, what's our confidence level on all this leaked stuff? Where'd it all come from, and when?

My confidence level now is pretty high. I mean, myself and others predicted the story would move to Andromeda over a year ago. We were right. We predicted the ark concept too, that is yet to be proven.

But those were two predictions. Could the leak have borrowed the Andromeda idea? Sure. I mean, it was so obvious a year ago that Bioware would go that route that we literally predicted it from nothing but a concept art image and common sense...

But it made several other specific predictions about aspects of the game that do appear to be true based on dev comments so far. Also, DAI (or DAO? I'm not a DA fan) was leaked in EXACTLY the same way. It is looking to be more and more true.

My current theory is the planet the Normandy crashes on at the end of ME3 is in the Andromeda galaxy and is how we found out the citadel could send a ship to anther galaxy, which is why the Normandy crashed on that planet in the first place. though because people hated the idea your crew could be trapped on a unknown planet Bioware had to change it slightly. Thus the Ark symbol.

Using the crashed planet would tie the new game directly to player choice endings*, seemingly then defeating the purpose of distance both literal and time from ME3.

*because that planet and the survivors are altered during the green ending.

Perhaps this ARKCON mission is fueled by the issue surrounding Haestrom. Using Haestrom, and more fictional science explanations tied with established Relay concepts in the lore, could further free the writers from the ME3 endings. Essentially coming down to the price of jumping to another galaxy is an entire solar system of energy or something. Also given that we could be in command of a Fleet, the best fleet managers are the Quarians plus being stranded in Andromeda sorta makes all the Arkspecies into Quarians Part 2.
