So a fully animated penis is taking it to far then? I mean more like DA:I yes. You don't have to show genitalia or anything like that.
Bioware would have to hire a penis animator.
As would I. But we both know that will never happen.Isn't Source Film Maker for that?
I'd love to sacrifice romances and "romance climax cutscenes" for more companion quests.

Which is good, because I enjoy the romance story arcs, and Bioware apparently enjoys writing them. Luckily for you guys they are 100% Optional.
Space Nipples and schlongs semi-confirmed?
I doubt Bioware would go that far with it
Nothing better than a soft pair of hooters.

Probably going to be removed, but have to post it.
I don't mind it whatsoever, Its an 18+ game and I have been past that point for a long time. Its not biowares fault if underage kids plays the game anyway when its rated for M.
Mo-cap

As do I. My own personal preference would be that they wouldn't as well. I'd rather they limited any nudity to breasts and backsides.
Having said that, I wouldn't be offended if they showed genitalia either. I just think that could much more easily could fall into the trap of just being gratuitous or there for shock value.

Or just have Jepler take another huge hit to his sanity.
For me it at the end, it depends of the camera angles they use in the cutscenes. Nudity received a better treatment in ME than in DA:O, even when they showed less "skin" in ME. It was hilariously disturbing the love scene with Morrigan in DA:O with her wearing a piece of underwear that indeed covered more of her breasts than her regular garments. The choice of angles in ME cutscenes hit the right tone, perhaps they could have designed the Morrigan cutscene differently so presenting her using that weird piece of lingerie would have been avoided.
I'm going to give the spiel I give whenever this comes up.
On the macro level, I don't care whether there is nudity or not. However, if they write and animate a scene where nudity is appropriate, they shouldn't shy away from showing it. If they are absolutely against showing it because they believe the human(or turian, or asari, or drell) body is a sinful thing to be ashamed of and our eyes must be shielded from it at all times lest our purity be stained, then they should use lighting and camera angles to cover it up.
What they should absolutely not do under any circumstances is write and animate a scene where a full grown woman, attempting to seduce another full grown woman, takes a shower while wearing her lacy black bra and panties, and that other woman proceeds to join her while fully dressed, potentially in her dress blues.
If it's appropriate to the scene, if it makes sense, then by all means, go ahead and show it. We're all adults here - or we should be, at least - we can handle seeing some naked pixels.
If you're actively unwilling to show nudity for whatever reason - and I can't imagine they are, given DAI - then do not write and animate a scene where the character should be naked but for some reason isn't.
Seriously, I don't know if I'm ever letting the Traynor showering in her bra and panties thing go. That was so stupid, that was so childish that was so immersion breaking.
If they do include nudity to the degree that DAI did, I hope they don't show the PC so much.
I often have very specific ideas about the PC's body - for example, my female characters might be more muscular under their clothes than the body models chosen by the devs. Then I get to a scene like that sleeveless black dress and BAM! Fantasy wrecked - lol.
I suspect that may be one of the reasons why CDPR avoids showing Geralt nude below the waist, not even his bum. NPCs are, and should be, fully managed by the devs, but there's only so much control of the PC I'm willing to forego.
I thought the sex scenes with Liara were very nicely done in the trilogy, and would prefer they stick with that aesthetic.
Personally I feel that there should be some degree of body customization - if not full morphing, then just different skins to show varying degrees of muscle tone. I also generally think that my female PC - be it Shepard in ME or my Cousland warrior princess, or my canon warrior Hawke, should have more muscular/athletic builds than what's presented in the game.
But that's a discussion for another time and another thread.

Actually TW3 does show Geralt nude below the waist. Not the dangly bits thankfully, but he is nude at least as much as Yen or Triss.
The game's gonna be rated M, so let's act like it. I wanna see some floppin' ******.
Also, if my character doesn't get to do a line of red sand out of some hot alien's ass crack, I'm going to be pissed.

He is, but in the sex scenes it is all about his dirty linen-boxers. Love them!
Nudity is considered evil by the elders and soccer moms. so we young folks gonna have a hard time seeing it properly implemented in any games in the near future. And since Bioware isn't known to be a very rebellious or daring studio things look grim on naked skin.
I support the request for the same type of nudity as in DA: I. I didn't see an issue with it. Obviously, I'd like it to be even. Even DA: I was really skewed in this way. Cassandra, Sera, and Femquisitor were all naked for the gals. Only Dorian was naked for the guys. Cullen kind of was, but it was all done in the Austin Powers "conveniently blocking objects" approach. I don't think either males or females need to go full-frontal, but if females do, then guys should too.
There's absolutely no ESRB reason why it would make a difference. There's no difference between male and female nudity. Or graphic and casual nudity. They is just 'nudity' and 'no nudity'. Now, if the nudity is also involved in actual sexual encounters, then it could also effect the 'sexual content' category as well. But nudity by itself (such as Dorian and Cassandra in DA: I) doesn't have any difference in the rating. I know this first hand from an ESRB rater who is one of my closest friends.
In general, I don't need it in the game, but I certainly don't mind it either. I agree that it should make sense for the scene. If the scene should include a naked person, then the character should be naked or the scene should be changed. Just make it make sense and not be too graphic or anything and it should all be fine.

Iron Bull had the same thing as Cullen; convenient Femquisitor in the way.
That being said, I do get why there wouldn't include frontal male nudity. The animation just isn't there yet. But if they want to include more man-butt, by all means.
a newcomer to this forum would think the PC's spend more time in bed than on the battlefield
An experienced BioWare fan already knows the company's endgame is an all-inclusive harem anime simulator.
