if they add nudity they should make it tasteful and realistic, ideally no copy and paste action (i know, the budget) and give the option to opt out of sexy time but still be in a romance. 

 

Tasteful and nudity should only ever go together if the purpose is for reproduction or science.

 

Nudity titillates, that's what you get from nudity as art, you just use less crass language than someone who says "I get my rocks off" neither person is wrong although the latter is a real time and place way of putting it.

I have to disagree, not all nudity titillates, at least not me. There's plenty of nudity that has the opposite effect on me actually. I can look at nude photography for art references and it won't do anything to me f.e.

Of course not, just in the same way someone may not always be hungry or enjoy a particular sweet or sweets at all but it doesn't change the intent most of the time.

that's not what I'd use tasteful for when I think of sexual desire.

If Liara was same in ME3 as in ME1 she would less interesting every character need development and growth. She need to be who she is in ME1 to become what she is in ME3.

I'm cool with lots of nudity or sex in film or games, just so long as it isn't there just to titillate the audience. As much as I love Game of Thrones, the TV series too often is a bit juvenile with its use of nudity. Littlefinger's sexposition is pretty much the textbook example of gratuitous.

I can understand complaints about ninjamancing and odd lock-in dialogue options, but I don't get the complaints that Liara expresses romantic interest early and is direct about it. Does every female LI need to be passive and pursued by the protagonist, playing it coyly at first, and only later succumbing to protagonist's charms? How boring and unrealistic. 

 

Besides the Asari shouldn't have human gender roles. The idea that a woman can't make the first move shouldn't even be present in their culture. After all, they're all women.

I've only had one playthrough of KotoR, with a male character. I'll have to check out a FemRevan Let's Play.

 

Bioware also has a penchant for creating virginal female LIs, that I'd rather they'd drop. Aerie, Liara, Tali, ect. Adult female characters should have lived adult lives prior to meeting the protagonist, just like their male counterparts.
