I don't really take not using seduction professionally to mean she must also be a virgin altogether.

Again, stated in-game and confirmed by her creators.
Anyway, I didn't mean to make the discussion offtopic.

A 'synonym' in medieval times, which DAI isn't.
It sounded like the confirmation by her creators was the same line that I was disputing means what you think it means.

That is my issue with Leliana's dialogue as well. The setting of DA:I might be quasi-medieval, but the dialogue isn't. The dialogue in the DA series is very much 21st Century North American and anachronistic, so I don't think Leliana's dialogue was referring to Josephine's experience or lack thereof.
Now if a writer specifically said that Josephine is a virgin...than that's that. But the quoted statement from her writer about Josephine being a different sort of bard than Leliana, and not relying on seduction, does not necessarily indicate a total lack of any past romantic relationships. It just means she never mixed work and play, regardless of whether or not she was a virgin.

The devs have flat out stated that they took inspiration from medieval Europe when developing Thedas. And some people still use that word as a synonym today.

The response about her sexual experience and what she did as a bard were two different tweets, asked months apart.

I took Leliana's statement as meaning Josephine has never had any serious romantic relationships. This might or might not indicate that she was literally a virgin. Just that she has never been emotionally involved with anyone. ANd in the end, it didn't really matter in her story.

Less than in ME1 is hardly possible.
Most of Bioware's M rated games alone had less than ME1.

Also, people wanting a virgin as a partner is also a tad creepy.
Why? What's creepy about the "two people wait until they find their true love" kind of romances? The most famous love stories in storytelling are that.

Depending on the reasons, if it's a fetish, sure, but, it could be because of personal reasons like religion or like some people can only RP as a vegetarian in video games. They may not want to be with someone who has sex outside of marriage or someone who finds casual sex to be acceptable.
I personally don't care about it though, but I just provide some perspectives.

If my LI is a virgin I'd like the option to make the first time special, they are my LI after all, I felt bad in FO4 because I couldn't provide that for Danse.
Danse's a virgin, but male virginity doesn't seem to have the same degree of fetishize as the women, maybe, I'm not sure. lol. It seems more of a joke if a guy is still a virgin though, but that's the double standard in society, I guess.

Never finished the female playtrough in KotoR I because of this.
Male Revan is quite flirty with Bastila and female Revan is a blushing virgin...
That's not how I saw a female Revan playthough, at all. She gets to throw playful insults at Carth and give him suggestions about where to put his blaster. That seemed like flirty behaviour to me!
Actually I liked the way a female pc could really tease Carth without it killing the romance.

Oh noes a woman initiated flirting, that's mans work damn it.
That is so far from the point made, it basically shot past Andromeda into the galaxy reserved for ME73.

Not sure why it would be creepy, BW keeps adding virgin characters to their games and I want to be able to approach it with respect.

There's nothing wrong with any adult being a virgin especially especially by choice. Some choose to abstain because of their religion, some because something bad happen to them as a child and they have severe trust issue with people touching them that it make them vomit so... yeah... there's that.
I rather ME1's Liara have the same personality as DAO's Leliana. Overgrown little girl are never attractive. Besides, she always get Shepard to deflower her and you can't say no... consent matters.

I guess this is what makes BSN special, its weirdness and surprises.

Wait, what?!
Where was there a lack of consent in Mass Effect? Lets turn down the hyperbole a few notches. Shepard doesn't get raped.

Yeah she does. By Javik in citadel dlc if you have no romance and don't try to rape Vega.
(I had to headcanon that my Fshep got really drunk and done him with a strap on)

That only happens if you have the wild party. If you have the calmer party, you don't wake up with Javik even if you are romanceless.
