Now why would I ever accuse you of exaggerating?
I've seen seen some stuff in the Tali thread and other places, a mailbox romance is mild in comparison tbh.

You know how you see these hollywood actresses and for their whole career they refuse to do nude scenes and you're kinda like...."You're an actress, that's your profession and you don't do that!?" Then at some point in their career they get a job for a MAJOR director and it is demanded of them and they do it and you're like
THAT is why you always refused! We get it now! I kind of feel like that about the current Mass Effect characters.
If we are going with all new characters then bring on the boobs.
Lets get Alexandra Daddario in here. 10 out of 10 boobs. Period. And True Crime is a great show on top of that.
If Bioware wants to redeem themselves in my eyes and want to be friends instead of enemies? Get my future wife in here. Gina Carano.
I'm surprised that this thread hasn't been locked, or kicked out the airlock, by now. ![]()
Given the controversy that happened with the "nudity" in ME1. I was kind of surprised that they actually went with the nudity that they had in DAI. And since the world didn't end because of it, I would be very surprised if there wasn't nudity in ME:A. Hopefully no more showering while wearing underwear. ![]()

I'd hardly call the ME1 romance a "controversy." More aptly, Fox News, as always, was snorting cocaine and claimed the game had full frontal nudity, when it only had side boob.
As far as why DAI had nudity, I think that was in response to TW2 and other AAA games fully embracing nudity in games. I fully expect MEA will continue the tradition, although I hope the nudity is handled better than it was in DAI. At least for the Cass romance, it was kind of awkward.

This is really it. Once the way was paved then now its just follow suit.
There was a deleted thread asking about penis. It was a legitimate question. GTAV most recently had penis in it, of course that thread is now gone.

GTA IV also had a penis. The difference is Rockstar always does that for comic relief, rather than anything sexual or intimate. I wouldn't be opposed to a penis either, as long as a vagina is also represented. Oh wait, Mass Effect already got the latter covered...

Yeah, my stance on nudity is pretty straightforward. As long as it's done well and isn't purely to turn the game into softcore porn, I'm in support of it.

We now know the answer to the age old question of "What do Asari have downstairs?" They even included the "easy" button lol. That's pretty detailed and surprising. That's a screenie from in game?
Also. Male nudity is comedy. Unless we are talking like Borat. Then its traumatizing. ![]()

I didn't know what true sex was until I watched Borat. Suffice it to say, my sex life improved exponentially after that crucial pillar was established.
As far as I'm aware, this is the default model for the banshee in Mass Effect 3.
Right. That's why.
You know this!

Yes please, no underwear during sex either, it's VERY unrealistic bioware!! It's an M rated game and people buying it should be able to handle real nudity.
What? You don't shower with your clothes on? I thought this is what everybody did.

Haha of course! I never take off my clothes when having sex in the shower, no one does, or do they??? And not during sex in the bed either, I always keep my underwear on
Well of course! What kind of dirty creatures would we be if we actually had sex nude? How barbaric! Thank goodness BioWare is our moral compass and knows what's best for us! If not for BioWare, I fear what kind of crazy sex scenes would actually be in these games...

Being the hydromaniac that I am that also digs some clothing being worn during the deed,I dig the spontaneity on display in this scene here. It's too bad it was handled so poorly though.
We must think of the children! Poor children, shelter those poor eyes
Indeed! Lets not worry about all the blood splatter, gore, and overall disturbing visuals of humans turned into husks and reapers turning humans into genetic paste. It's those breasts and nipples that are truly sinful! Hide them all!

I certainly can see that scenario, if that is what BioWare was actually trying to accomplish. However, I'm fairly certain this was their lame way of not having nudity and still trying to give fan service to those who decided to romance Traynor, which was a minor, optional romance. I think what you suggested could be done again though, and be much more intimate and sexy depending on the cinematic direction.

I have a little cousin around 8 and she was watching a movie not meant for her age with me and her dad which I brought up and it got ignored. All the killing was fine but as soon as breasts showed up her eyes got hidden and now she's convinced boobs are scary but only on women. Yesterday she came by to visit while I was playing a game one of the women in the game had more or less a bikini top and she got all in a tizzy about it asking me to stop playing cause she didn't want to see that. Topless men wearing less were fine though. Yep she's getting nice and screwed up at an early age that one.
On topic I think nudity should be included where it makes sense.
@Huldradancer
My two cents to your post above...
I don't think it was the showing of the breasts in the game to begin with which was the problem, I think your cousin shouldn't have been allowed to watch you play that game at all. That way it would have been prevented, her "drama" with breasts... That would have made more sense.
She barged in on my room, and there were no bare breast aside from on the men. I'm far more strict about what she gets to see than her parents are. Her drama with breast, as far as I can tell, started from a movie her parents let her see I even mentioned that she shouldn't of been watching it at her age and was promptly ignored. I apologize if I was unclear in any of that in my last post.
EDIT This was what she got uncomfortable over by the way maybe it's because I"m not a parent but I don't really see anything wrong or inappropriate with what she's wearing other than it's silly armor (but that's just a thing in that game)

According to Bioware normal beautiful naked human body horrible and disgusting. Mother from Dragon age perfectly fine. And don't see problem with banshee looks anatomically correct.

Yep. There are ratings on films and video games for a reason. Whether it's nudity, violence, language, whatever, these are just mature topics kids do not have the mental capacity to understand. Rather than confuse them and traumatize them at an early age, it's best to shelter them as much as possible until they can handle those kinds of issues.
The only issue here is parenting. If parents actually cared what their kids played and watched, developers wouldn't have to worry about including violence or nudity, as only individuals 17 and older are supposed to be playing these kinds of games anyway. Instead, you'll find kids under-aged all the time playing M-rated games because their parents don't care and don't supervise them.

That seems fairly accurate. Normal, beautiful, naked bodies are gross and should be hidden. Broodmother with multiple breasts and nipples and banshee with a vagina is perfectly fine because they are "enemy NPCs."

Agreed that she shouldn't of watched that movie I even brought that up to her father. I apologize if maybe I came off as defensive in my other post I have a horrid time getting what I mean across. For the record her father wanted me to watch the movie with him and she wanted to watch as well, he allowed her and I voiced my opinion on that not being a good idea. However I'm not her parent, he is so he got to decide it. I also apologize if that was unclear as well.
