I don't believe in chastity myself especially with romantic relationships I personally think it's unnecessary and silly, I say why not bring nudity and sex with romantic interests but spice it up. A little erotica and foreplay can't hurt none with romance options to make it more sexy. Man this will be so fun!

So are we just ignoring the fact that asexuals who want romantic, but non-sexual relationships play games? Just no respect to the fact that seeing sex on screen may make people uncomfortable?

People by and large seem to be ok with sex scenes, certainly with sexually active romances

I was happy with the way that DA:I gave various types of romances, some with sex, some without.

My issue is not with providing sex scenes, but to the phrasing in that user's post.

It's just my opinion it doesn't mean that no one should have non-sexual relationships. Each to his own. It's the idea that you with someone and not have sex with your partner for the rest of the relationship just seems alien to me, I find that abnormal for not to have sex with your partner. Sex has always involved in relationships and marriages (as far as I know anyways) and I just don't see what's wrong with sexuality in relationships.

And that nudity is not the same as a sex scene. There's a wide gulf between featuring nudity in context and content appropriate ways and an actual sex scene. A sex scene doesn't require nudity and nudity doesn't require sex.

True enough.  But I'd say most nudity when it appears does in fact revolve around love/sex scenes.

I think that sort of depends on the genre.

As I understand it, creatures like the broodmother or banshees need to be tagged for nudity. Dragon's Dogma lists partial nudity, presumably for creature design (the harpy family) even though it has no sexual content to speak of.

I don't see why that some people don't like watching sex scenes, it's absolutely nothing wrong of watching sex scenes and enjoying them. It is nothing to be ashamed of.

It doesn't need to be a shame thing though. I'm sure there are things you simply have no interest in seeing, purely because they hold no interest for you.

DA2 and DAI doesn't exactly have a sex scene right? Its just a foreplay, fade out and then one of them was half-naked or some sort.

I kinda want the sex scene in the movie 300. Or maybe just legion of really hot guys wearing nothing but muscles...

Google Mr Skin for celebrity sex scenes. They can learn a lot of how they make them more adequate and more tasteful.

We should uncouple the two.  Have them be separate choices.

 

This is just like how the voiced protagonist groups together words and tone as a single option, without letting us choose them separately.  Relationships have the same problem.  Instead, we could have a relationship, and then add the romantic aspect or sexual aspect independently.

Considering no Mass Effect games so far have had them, I doubt it.

Even their franchise that has had brothels didn't have one in the latest game.

Requests like this are why games should be mod-friendly. Being mod-friendly allows the game to serve markets like this without the devs having to wear the bad PR that comes with it.
