Well, as I recall DA:I was the first game of BioWare (haven't played games before origins/ME 1 except Kotor) with actual nudity in it. Do you think it was a good move of BioWare as it of course i an adult franchise and do you think they should put it also in the new Mass Effect?
I was raised to believe that certain parts of my body are sinful and/or shameful and offensive to other people when spoken of or shown. One moment spent in a feces-smeared public restroom trying to feed by newborn son - so as not to offend others who might be upset by a glimpse of my breast - made me realize that these social constructs of modesty have made us biologically dysfunctional in many ways.
For that reason, and some others besides, I'm glad that nudity was appropriately present in DA:I. I'll also be glad if appropriate nudity is present in ME:A. Perhaps the functional presence can desensitize offense caused by biology and bring us one step closer to a world in which my breast is no more shameful or offensive than my hand or my eyeball.

I'm sorry to hear that. Female breasts aren't shameful, especially when they serve their biological purpose. Women can do their thing and just tell everyone else to go to hell if they have a problem with it.
Mass Effect is the pinnacle of SP RPG games.Mass Effect has been a major disappointment, but on the whole, Bioware has made good games in the past. As you can see on my avatar, I own quite a few of them (I go all the way back to BG1 in fact).
If an opinion is contrary to yours, it is not "trolling".
It sure seems some people don't take well to having their opinions challenged doesn't it?
He's being reasonable. You're being the bad guy by being immature and stubborn. Leave it alone.Again, you proved my point by saying that they should have sex be in all romances even if the writer wants to tell a romance story that doesn't involve it.
Thanks man. Not necessary but thanks anyway. He's being reasonable. You're being the bad guy by being immature and stubborn. Leave it alone.

I'd say not wanting to shoehorn sex scenes into a situation where sex may not be desired is in fact being mature...

Just like pretending that it does not exist or not portraying it where otherwise it should have been part of the natural flow of the romance.

Never said that.

How am I being immature and stubborn by defending what Bioware did and potentially wants to do in the future?
Personally attacking someone out of the blue like you did is being immature. What I did is not.

What bothers me is that while some of us has been asking what nudity actually offer beyond just nudity, and people call us prudes. How do you know if we are prudes or not? You do not know us. We are just asking if it has a place in our entertainment without feeling shoehorned in just for nudity's sake. I know plenty of movies and tv-series that does this and it never really fits the story.

Shhhh....you'll mess with their Narrative of what we are ![]()
Was The Witcher series really a true RPG? I'm sure the stories and fetch quests and choices and consequences were impressive but it is still based on a book series around predetermined characters. In the end, you're merely playing an interactive movie with controllable NPCs . Then again, I probably be more happier if I could play the entire series as Ciri just to explore the games fully in a whole new perspective like going to pubs hooking up with a collection of hunky male prostitutes but I can't, can I?
In fact, what if we're able to redo all male NPCs at all the clubs in Mass Effect trilogy to wear just thongs while they're dancing.
Please, go on. Explain how Mass Effect is better than something like TW3, any of the Elder Scrolls games, or KotOR.
I'm not saying ME is bad. What I'm saying is that is an unwise assertion. It's also a personal opinion that you're presenting as an objective truth.

I am definitely agreeing with you about Kotor. it is one of Bioware's better works. Yes Bioware, you can quote me on that.
Haha figures, just a quick glance at the Andromeda forums and what's the hottest thread about? But nudity, of course, and by far! Lol.
Never change, SP crowd.
You know you want nudity too...

Yes it's wrong, breasts are wonderful.

Same arguments over and over and over with same people arguing. This thread really should die because everything was already said, there's nothing more to contribute and it's just going to be an endless cycle of the same Iakus v N7Phantom.
