PC has a bad reputation for hacking, but there have been reports of console hacking too. For example, missile glitching in ME3MP was mostly an Xbox problem. Of course the glitch was also used on other systems, but the Xbox was in a league of it's own.

People that cheat will cheat on all the systems they can, it's not about the specific system, it's all about people...

 

Glitching =/= hacking. Hacking is not possible on xbox or playstation without modified hardware. That is a fact. Modifying your hardware = getting your account banned online. Ive never seen someone with modified hardware first hand before, though I don't have a ps4 or xbone, just a PS3. Missile glitching was something you could do in game and didn't require file edits. 

 

PC also does not have a bad reputation for hacking. Thats a ridiculous excuse that console players invented to counter the fact that mods are awesome and completely free. In the 10 years ive been gaming on PC, the only game where I have ever seen malicious hackers is in the older call of duty games.

I was being overly simplistic, most people don't see the difference between glitching and hacking. They also tend to think everything they can't do is cheating. Sorry if I've over generalized a bit too much.

what's almost worse then cheating is being accused of cheating I have had a bunch of people unfriend and block me cause some other **** bleeping bleep who does not like me has been going around telling people that I cheat dont know why people believe it I guess they are dumb I die alot im not on leaderboards plus I have over 800 hours into this game no way I would put that at risk

Medallian knows little to nothing about mechanics in this game, his post history is evidence of that. Dude thought that RNG unique drops favoured whatever kits you used most for example. Pretty embarrassing considering how much time he has spent in game.

lol ok that was a hypothesis ... it was based on observation....... and know  one knows anything till the devs say other wise ,  let me guess your one of those casual players with 400 hours in the game and stats that are all under 40..... I have seen what people  post here... so troll me all you want say what you will but fact is I said it before I;'ll say it again you trolls can chock on my success... I am rank one and as of now all stats 200 + so you my friend can suck it... HATERS make me ....!!! Keep on inspiring me to push harder so I can have more things to gloat about and inflate my ego.... as it is now I already have to buy two seats when I get on a plan .... I have to check my ego in as extra carry on luggage .  so say what you will little man....!!!! I am on top... so far on top that all those tiny insults you fling at me cant even reach.... its a pitty that they cant find a cure for jealousy ...... HATERS ( Having. Anger. I have 600 hours, stats around 40-50 and i play this game very casually because thats the sort of game it is. I also play video games with my girlfriend 95% of the time im online and we like to play things other than daimp because it gets boring fast.

I am not jealous of someone who spends as much time on daimp as you. No offence but i think that obsessive gaming (8+ hours a day) is very unhealthy and is also a huge waste of time. Id rather spend that time with my loved ones.

Nobody here is jealous of your success. Infact im usually always the first person to praise video game achievements because i can recognise that they are important to some. I dont like you because you are incredibly egotistical, you spread misinformation about mechanics and whenever someone critisises you, you scream hater. I imagine a lot of people dislike you for similar reasons.

Well I am currently .... 54/100/29 and I want to aim for 100/100/100.

 

I want to work on my con mainly but I have completed my Templar and Avarr agent challenges, and those two are my favourite warriors. Probably Katari will be the next path and at the moment the agent challenge for Katari is at 4/250 ... so a long way to go.

 

My favourite overall character keeps changing. I am loving the elementalist, never realised what a powerful class it is (and a barrier too) !!

 

For cunning I think I will use the Duelist.

Oddly enough, the alchemist has the highest team exp potential with her knockout bomb spam and freeze causing more support exp. She does the least damage though. This is followed by archer with dual KO abilities putting enemies to sleep.

 

Keep in mind that the exp rules are a fixed amount of xp per enemy for kills, but support exp can be added, so your net resulting exp increases as you use AoE support abilities. . . which goes back to Alchemist's Freeze + Sleep.

 

She doesn't kill fast, but if your group is already killing fast, that won't be an issue. She'll generate support exp for your group. Archer and Duelist provide straight DPS most of the time--but archer has the option to put enemies to sleep as well.

So after reaching 170 in each category, its pointless to promote anymore. The devs said this.

I'm a scrubbish 28/26/22. Given that between work and RL I only really play about 4hrs per week if I'm lucky.

 

Similar situation time wise here. Plus I've only been playing MP for a bit less than 3 months, so I'm at Con 20 WP 18 Cun 17 if I remember correctly. I try to promote one class at a time, though I went a bit crazy with the Katari and the Avvar when I got the dragon maul.

It's less efficient, not all stats have a soft cap.

Constitution won't give you more melee defense, but you'll still get 5 HP for each promotions.

Willpower won't give you more magic defense, but you'll still get 0.5% Attack.

Cunning is the only stat that becomes eventually pointless because you top at 80% range defense and 100% Critical Chance. On the other hand, would you stop playing Rogues altogether because you got there? Probably not, I mean if you got there you must love playing them and as far as I can tell, fun isn't pointless...

Medallion you are high up promotions but to declare you are god you have to be the best and your not. Saying PS3is hacked is absurd, to say it is obsolete is fine but that doesn't make it not valid. Your simply somewhere between second and forth in DAMP. Denial doesn't change the fact, that is all I wanted to point out.

I actually don't get to play as much as I would like to. I work full-time. However, I havent given this game any break since December and I still find it to be just as fun and rewarding as it was in the beginning, mostly because of the nice peeps I play with.

Also, congrats on being number 68 on PS4. That is certainly no small achievement at all!

I don't think he was alone in that.  So if it wasn't to pluck at Medallian because he was being bested by a girl ("like there was additional shame" in that), then I do wonder what relevance gender played here.  I don't know that it's negativity being portrayed as much as it is a way of thinking.
