What are the stats of the average perilous grinder?

Well, seeing as the top 100's for each platform seem to have 650-700 minimum prestige I'd guess the average grinder has 200+ promotions.

For instance, I have a few punched by the makers. One has 28% HoK, one has 48% crit, and one has 26% crit and 40% crit damage.
i don't really even take promotions into consideration anymore. I play well enough I don't need them as a crutch, I just promote because, well it's like an instinct.
I break LoS with archers now, I properly integrate teamwork, the promotions aren't needed honestly. On a PuG it's nice for carrying purposes, and for "fun" builds.

I grind 90% perilous, and have been for awhile. I was around 18/20/24 when I started doing that. Best end game gear helped me compensate for the lack of promotions. Cunning is the biggest difference maker in many builds where you can't have a lot of crit on your equips. Plus you can trade in crit rings for hook rings.

Do you find it that Perilous is easy? Also, is group comp important? Are team members about the same stats?

You can read Yumi's gaming log for the past week to see reflections on how he does.

Damn you Drasca.
I'm not good enough to carry a bad team solo in Perilous, I would need better stats than that. I'm man enough to admit that I can't solo perilous unless I'm using the handful of possible builds available to me at my lower promotion ranks.
But with 1 or 2 people on my friends list playing, we almost never fail. It really helps to have at least 1 barrier class on perilous though. Assassins are much less useful than any other class. Team composition is mostly about maximizing XP.
Almost everyone on my friends list is 40/40/40 stats and higher. So yes I'm the weakest little rabbit in the hole.
Lesson: get the big boys to carry you

I'm at 68/71/66 and only recently started playing perilous more than threatening. That's pug life for you. Luckily I usually don't have to start a peri lobby alone, either someone on friendslist is hosting a lobby or they join when I send them an invite.
List of things that were holding me back:
1. lack of superb hok until over 1.5mil spent.

Some classes are easier to play on perilous like Virtuoso (spam barrier and no-one dies) having a barrier spammer in a group helps heaps if you have low stats. Guard generating characters like Katari or AOE nukers like Avvar are easy to play. I find the hardest to play on perilous are the rouges.
Stay near barrier spammers, don't go in front of classes using their shield to block incoming attacks and don't aggro the whole zone at once and you will find it easier. Use the terrain to fall back behind if too many ranged enemy have you targeted and bottle neck them.
Some mobs are easier than others. Like ranged classes don't like enemies with shields so prefer demons. Melee classes don't like demons because they keep porting around to much and are hard to pin down. And mages just eat everything for breakfast as long as the back stabbers don't hit them.
Also some builds are better for soloing and some for team work (support xp) make sure you build your character for the job you want it for (yes you can swap abilities now). If you group with the same people all the time you know what abilities will be useful and which are not needed as much. Some builds can be offensive (kill mob quicker so you take less damage) or defensive (helps you survive longer and hope your team mates have some dps builds). For example: Virtuoso can be full barrier/added armor/added resistances/heal over time or offensive and nuke everything with electricity or cold.
p.s. my stats for you are 137/163/148, I have been grouping/soloing perilous for 6 months but I do remember the days we used to have deaths in perilous. Having a strong player in my team saved a total wipe on many occasions.

FTFY. Fact is you can solo perilous. The number of classes and builds changes, but the number of top tier builds remain limited even as your gear and promotions increase.
I can solo perilous with Assassin, and I have carried wave 5 solo with her. I don't actually want to do so, especially since I cleared 250 ops already.

at 27/ 54/ 32 and all the top gear, perilous is challenging only with people who can't for the life of them understand how LoS works. Arrow pincushions and meatshields the lot of them. On mic, "Ummmm, you guys DO know that arrows don't go around corners, right?"

Dunno why anyone would stop promoting.
I don't consider myself a grinder, but my stats are 41/136/34, just broke 700 prestige.. Maybe 25 percent of my games are PUGs, and that's prolly being generous.
Promotions and gear don't matter nearly as much as who you play with, and how you play.

60% pugs on threatening, I can solo with most kits lvl 7+
I play perilous mostly with friends and have done so since about 20 promotions. Clear rate has improved from 50% -> 80%. Still about 50% if playing with pugs.
Dragons DLC introduced me to a lot of players and I bought a mic. This changed everything. The comments reflect that teamwork and composition greatly increase your success rates and a mic gives you the ability to communicate everything going on.
Over the last month my Perilous clears have gone from 76 (jan-may) to 236 (may-june) all because people new who I was and wanted me in their team.
Then they left for ESO

my stats are mid 20's constitution and willpower
cunning mid 40's.
I have to pay more attention but my most promoted classes are Assassin and Alchemist by far so its second nature now.
You dont need that many promotions but you do need good gear and a heal on kill imo and if you have alot(20ish)of Reaver/Assassin/Necro/Alchemist promotions you should be good enough to take any class by then.
Basically if you easy mode mages all day in threatening for your promotions your probably gonna die with the true dps classes your gonna need (want) for semi-speed grinding Perilous.

20/20/20 lol. Stats don't matter THAT much, really. As long as you can doge attacks and have high damage weapons plus some kind of hok equipment.
