OP you mean like this? (one of the better romance scenes I've seen in games imo)
Now thats a MAN'S game!!!!

Oh I don't know about that. Geralt is quite the eye candy.
I honestly just think sex is for reality not a video game.

I can't blame 'em for not really showing mouth on mouth kissing, hardcore 'caressing', and other explicit details, that must be hella hard to animate. Even though I appreciate a good romance scene, I would prefer them devote more of their efforts to a strong game and good writing rather than figuring out how explicit and well animated they can make a sex scene.
But hey, whatever improvements they can spare to romance scenes I'll take 'em! As proven by DA:I, Bioware knows how to make some beeootiful people
Nothing wrong with showing off what you got lol
Well, speaking of "caressing"... fly cam proves that Bioware is relatively..capable of doing that stuff. But the vanilla scenes don't really show that off. My case in point:
normal Cullen scene
fly cam showcasing some legit dry humping lmao
Lol, no big deal though, I appreciate Bioware taking the 'classier' route, the zoom out from the window was pretty sweet from a cinematic point of view.
Now thats a MAN'S game!!!!
i don't know, Geralt had a nicer ass.
Ehh, rendering foreplay's one thing.
A more glaring omission in past games was PDAs, particularly in 3 when you haven't seen your LI for some time, and also you were in jail for some reason. Not saying you have to suck face for 5 min, but a nice kiss after it's been a while goes a long way.

Some LIs in ME3 had that.
You can kiss Thane.
Kelly gives you a hug.
Jack punches you then kisses you.
You and Liara hold hands.
Tali and Garrus were preoccupied with other things at the moment, but state they want to spend time with you.
Yes, but there's one very glaring omission from that list. And I ain't talking about the VS.

Miranda, I'm guessing?
Well, the VS makes sense since they are still suspicious of what Cerberus did to you. When they're in the hospital things get patched up.
So sex scenes is okay in novels and cinema but bad for videogames?
Please explain....
Cinema and novels are reality now? Incredible. ![]()

I think sex is for reality not for games, novels, cinema, or other forms of interactive or entertainment media.
It's harder than it may seem to animate actual uncovering. They only have two types of models. Clothed and unclothed. They'd need to make third or fourth models for different stages of unclothed. You can't just take off a belt and have slipping pants.. or take off a shirt and suddenly have the nude model underneath. The models are based on static objects and raw animation. Not physics (except some of the flowing parts, like cloaks in the wind)..
It's probably not worth it.... for the miniscule amount of time it'd be in the game.
<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>
Animation of human movement (and properly done at that) is shown in past promo videos. So, uncovering movement can be done as well
But, as you say, It's probably not worth it.... for the miniscule amount of time it'd be in the game.

CDProjekt rules.... maybe Bioware should hire some artists from them (or borrow)
Cinema and novels are reality now? Incredible.
Point is that sex scenes are common in movies that are rated R (intended for adults) and it is normal. Yet when it is in a M rated videogame it is considered childish and perverted.
Point is that sex scenes aren't necessary regardless of whatever double standards may apply.
SJWs could save themselves some time and be more effective if they picked and chose their battles instead of lashing out at everything that smacked of hypocrisy.
Why not show them slowing start kissing, getting undressed, moving onto the bed and fade out then? Or even things like licking the body of the other (stomach, chest) or stuff?
Nobody does that in Canada or in the US. At all. Never, ever. That's why.
Come on, Bioware. Show more taint fuzz!

I don't like either Triss or Yennefer. Too bad the games make the decision for me.
No it doesn't. It's perfectly possible for Geralt to end up single in TW3. Just don't tell either woman that you love her, it's that simple.
In my honest opinion ME1 is the only game to have got it right, tasteful fade to black
With BioWare constantly rehashing animations an basically not giving much of a toss for aesthetics in general "sex" scenes are best left to fade to black as they just look ridiculous and childish.
I would rather they spent time an resources getting aesthetics like hair/body even skin meshes matching before attempting sex animations which just look bad when these things themselves look atrocious

snip the videos
Yep! Those were two great scenes. I enjoyed Yen's romance with Geralt a lot. She mellowed out the longer you with her. You don't always have to be so confrontational with her. Geralt mentions she could be nicer. They have great chemistry between the two. Go TeamYENN! ![]()
Triss also had a great love scene in Witcher 2. I'll give them that.
Also, liked Miranda's romance scene MisterJ posted. Another favorite. ![]()
I just think BioWare animators need a little more practice (or time?) with those types of scenes.
