To me, it seems like my return is always better when I

save about 2 mil+ credits.  I seem to get trolled less by

the store.  Otherwise, it seems like all I get are

human soldier character cards or something.  Not in a

race to max my manifest or anything.  What about you?

Would you prefer to save or spend each game?  Why do

you prefer to do it the way that you do?  It will be

rather interesting to see what the responses are.  I may

bonk myself in the head for doing it wrong for so long, feeling

sinful for being so ignorant.  In any case, let me know, one way

or another.  If only I could still get in touch with the infamous

Cassandra Saturn, who developed the program for the store.

lol I know this is a silly question, but humor me.  I’m only

“human”

I get to about 500k, then buy Jumbos, till I have about 180-240k. Then I buy a few Spectres.

I'd usually just max out the basic consumables with JEP's and

let Spectre packs give me stuff without

the basic consumables. I don't know which

human being designed this dumb store system. It's like driving your

race car only on the days when you roll a

die and it comes up 6. It feels so

out of touch with reality.

Fuck, you just described it perfectly!

You nailed it... It's a system you just can't

beat. I've tried over and over again, but it always makes fun of

me. I'll probably have

to try and make some adjustment to my buying habits or just hax

it.

I always try to put together a few hundred thousands to spam RPs, but I

would really like that, if we could buy stuff in bulks, I'd

rather spend 2 minutes to buy 200 of them, than

bang away 15 minutes of my life waiting for the packs to open and get

a few disruptor rounds and a

Krogan sentinel card.

Or some other useless stuff. I just want to

Have at it, you know?

My time is very precious, Let's have our

fingers crossed that it will be an option in MEA and they won't

shove another store like this in our face, and I don't have to give

up shopping after 30 minutes.

My head hurts looking all those packages open.  I just hope that BW will

own this problem because right now it is a very half-

arse system.

Shoot, I haven't thought about my buying strategy in ages!

My strategy has become pretty static.

Dick around for a bunch of matches until I have a couple of million credits, then

Off to the store to buy JEPs until my consumables are up (except Ops Packs) and then spend the rest on Arsenal Packs.

If Bioware keeps the same system in ME:A,

you can basically call it a blunder.  I may even

choose to play default kits only.  It may be

neither here nor there, but if the new store works,

then they better not mess it up, like when they gave

you the new packs, which caused a lot of delay.  You

get to wait even LONGER because of these packs!

Both are so great!  Yeah, I wish multiple could be purchased

simultaneously.  Good idea.

I agree, and I

bet most people, including

you, obviously, think that this approach to the store should

never have been

tried in the first place. But still it feels like biower is

shoving the same kinda thing into our faces in MEA (cue DAMP), so you'll be able to spend

your hard earned credits only to feel like **** again when you get nothing and all you'll want to do is cut your

fingers off, because that's how horrible and fucked

up this store design is. Whatever

your or anyone else's perception of the store is, it is indisputable that it's pretty much donkey's

arse level of quality.

I was always an impulse shopper. As soon as I even had just 60k credits I

would go straight for spectre pack. I'd

rather have instant satisfaction now than

let the credits pile up. I once tried

the whole saving up method, but it didn't work and all I got were useless

human cards and other crap. The

race to a maxed manifest is a marathon and god knows how many credits I had to

burn to get there. It was a tough

fight, and the only way I could deal with the insanity was

me going for quick fixes at the store everytime I had just enough credits. Come to think of it,

IRL, I impulse shop a bit, especially when I have a solid amount of extra cash. Man, the RNG gods are way too

OP in this game.

I'm a little more forgiving, because I'm

sure that Biovar meant well, when they implemented the design, so

it's not like they were trying to troll us on purpose. I am

not one of those people, who like to complain about everything it's only

a store, plus I remember when it used to be

very fast in the ol' days, when we only had 2 packs available to us. That speed was very

pleasant for me for sure, I would really like to

experience that again!

I think they

can probably change it. They've

always had the worst crapt being

shoot at this system.

My guts tell me they're changing it, although my

brainz tell me they won't. I know I'll be

out if they don't, though.

I'm a hardcore saver.  On my main account, I only use the gear I get from jumbos, even on Plat.  I dunno why, it just feels good to have tons of cash and horded equipment.

On my alt/baby account, I even save up to a minimum of 5mil credits before visiting the store.  I currently have 6mil on baby account, thinking of waiting till 10mil before the store.  I have issues though.

Looks like it's pretty split.  I would definitely

like to gather more data though.  I feel

the information gathered could help against the

Reapers (by maxing my manifest).  Which will

win me over?  Who knows?

You decide!  By the glory of a thousand burning

suns, I will await as long as I can for the time

of righteous consensus!  Okay, maybe that was a

bit dramatic.  But you know what?  You gotta admit

cheese goes with everything!  amirite?

Impulse shopper. I want to save, I mean I really want to save, but I get far too excited at the prospect that maybe this will be the PSP that gives me the Saber!

I use PC Mustard sauce to combat the stores troll nature, This

would save me many extractions from pug hell that could

snowball into never getting enough credits to get enough of

both CM4's and AM3's.

Of course then I have to decide do I really want to save enough to get

them at once or over time? Sometimes I get jealous when I see some pug load outs

and wish I could get lucky enough for 4 CM4's in a row, but sadly I just

watch as more and more explosive rounds increase

the total from 255 to 276, and for what? Oh the

horror. That's when I want to eat the fools liver

of all pugs and chug down a bottle of Chianti with

it and then be one with

all pugkind, oops mankind so I guess I'm a saver
