You guys need to stop writing like that. It's giving me a tumah.

And me take offense. Please, I'm a Terminator. I was just stating that playing the game brings the best in this forum. Whether anyone believes it or not, I care not.

I have about 10 mil in creds, but normally i will play like 4-5 games then i will go to store to re-up. Since i have a maxed manifest my shopping options usually goes like this...PSP, SP, VP, JP (for consumeables and missiles and ops packs mostly) and AP (for high end level 4 ammo). I will buy like 2 of each then i will go play some more games because it seems that after buying a few times the store tends to give you crappy stuff, even when you manifest is maxed...Cryo, Cryo..Cryo....:pinched:

Yes.

Bless you. I know it will never happen, of course, but I feel a tiny bit less small and lonely to think that it could.

When starting a new account, you have to spend it as soon as you get it. Only time I forget is when I'm in a back in the lobby and in a hurry to setup and readyup for the next match.

Sometimes I even turn my console off after a match without realizing I needed to spend my new manifest money first.

On maxed manifest account, I have a nice cushion of money & consumables. Life is too good there. Like I'm on hax PC or something.

Same here. I'm stingy and try to keep it at 10 mil. :P  The store is extreme annoyance, actually why is it called a store? You can't even browse and choose. It's a Russian roulette, it shoots blanks all the time. :D  And I really don't need all that Cryo, I can take the heat, thanks. ;)

Saver: I like to buy a lot of packs at once. Also, most of my games recently have been with friends relatively new to the multiplayer so we've been on bronze so I haven't had to burn that many consumables (barring a few oh crap they got grabbed or screw you rage rocket because why not)

As for the store: I would love to propose a system that implements both the current approach and a buy what you want. Harrier 1 is desired? It's yours for 1 million. Incendiary 4 running low buy a bulk pack of 20 for 20,000 and other examples. If you're feeling cheap or just a want a sample you can buy one of the RNG packs at similar pricing to what they are now.

How is it you complain about people derailing your threads, and then you

do the same exact thing?  Don't you know the golden rule?  "Do unto others..."

You are basically inviting people to continue to troll you with this attitude,

even posters who don't normally troll are speaking out.  This is not a Terminator

function, and not everything has to revolve around you.  Learn to get along

with other people, and you won't be frowned upon, like you currently are,

so much.  It's not bad enough that you constantly are posting and creating so

many pointless threads, but you have to constantly bump threads with your

extra random musings, which are often off-topic?  You are mutating all my

chromosomes with these sad attempts to get attention.  Makes me sad.

I have some others complains about the store. I

can't understand how they could even

believe that this could be a good system. What

the hell were they thinking? If they do the same for ME:A, the

mods will have a hell of a time. Or

are they planning to improve this feature

so that everyone can enjoy the game without spending one

fucking thousand hours into it because of the

moronic store? I seriously hope

that they consider what

they have learned and recognize that changes

are in order. I know I'll be

closing down my ME history otherwise.

All this time, they better have learned what is gonna make

the people quit and what, on the

other hand, will not. Let's just hope we can go back to a

normal store for the next game, so we won't have to witness the gazillion

threads complaining about it.

I agree that the store needs to be less ridiculous.  If they want people to spend irl money (which they definitely do), they need to make it worthwhile.  I believe someone estimated that it would take $3,000-$4,000 to max all URs and about $1k just to max all rares.

I am sure people have pumped money in, but I am also sure there are a lot of people who would have dumped $20-$100 in the store if they thought it would do anything for them.  I would even bet people would spend more if they saw the weapon they wanted right there for the taking with a price tag on it.  Imagine new players looking at their favorite SP weapon and contemplating how long it would take them to save up hundreds of thousands of credits vs. just spending a little $ and having a weapon to carry them.

Who knows what they decide will make them more $, but hopefully it is better than this nonsense.

As for the original question, I alternate.  Some days I just want to grab my loot and run, and others I want to play the game, so I save.  I think saving is better because I can JEP all my consumables and then open a bunch of SP without wasting spots in the pack for equipment.

Up to now i've stayed between 2 and 3 million. But i don't really see the point of having so much.

Make a million, spend a million and you're in that zone where you can buy enough the store will eventually

get bored and give you good ****.

Plus It's not like we need to save for our old days , or hope to get some new  kit , god forbid.

I buy early and often, but I would never call myself an impulse buyer.

My logic is thus: Since I'm always buying, I can use all my gels and packs every game if needed, no problem, without ever lacking the supplies for a later game. Also, even if I could get 3 upgrades to my UR all at once, getting those upgrades sooner would let me use them sooner for a boost sooner, helping me squeeze in an extra game or two with the time shaved off runs.

I understand the logic behind hoarding due to consumables, but as far as URs go? It's Gambler's Fallacy. You're still getting a comparable amount of URs in a comparable amount of packs. And personally, I really do feel that my method is simply the most efficient way to go.

I have about 3 to 4 million and usu
ally only top up when ops go below
255. Definately a compulsive horde
r.

In a way it keeps the game going fo
r me, knowing I still have a few UR
to get.

I once didn't open a xmas present
until boxing day because of my ho
rdeness. But it was a PSP anyway,
(handheld, not the pack).

what...

You just don't appreciate the fine literary device we're employing? we

are engaging in a great mutual enterprise to collectively raise

the level of discourse here on BSN, it might seem like the

dumbest thing ever, but we're doing what we can to deter

a*shole trolls while keeping this forum for a 3 year old game

alive. Just sit back and enjoy it!

Don't you have any curiosity about what he was saying?

Try reading the whole post. It's hard to understand what people are saying if you only read part of it

Thus looking over what they wrote as a whole is better.

Too many responses from someone who hasn't even read this

bad poetry writing style.  Why even respond?   Tell me what

the objective is in all of this?  Do you need a counselor?  Maybe a

doctor?  Are you targeting someone specifically, but are afraid to say

who?  Whatever your goal, just know your method hasn't really

delivered well.  No one can understand your ramblings except for

you.  You don't need to respond to every single thread.  The BSN

wasn't created to be your personal diary the last I checked.  Maybe

a real journal is something you need if this bothers you so, Mr

"Terminator".  Either way, please go infect another thread.

I think we should bring this back on topic, as I

feel it is getting out of hand.  I feel a kinship,

a camaraderie with all who've contributed a

bit.  I've not taken empirical data and am

guilty of falling into a mindless superstition here,

like buying packs at midnight for better drops.

I've grown accustomed to patterns and am a bit

set in my ways at this point, falling into the human

pitfall of habitual actions with no real basis.  They're

traps I really need to escape from, yes.  But

in my previous experience, late night actually seems

the right time to purchase.  There seems to be some

special merit to these habits, tbh.  I'd win gold at the

olympics of superstitious pack purchasing.  :/

Yeah, that's kind of you.  All sorts online.

This evening, I decided to pug for a bit.

In the lobby, I met an eloquent, well-

bred gentleman who spoke of the story of

Nimrod randomly.  The interesting gent

is apparently an astronomist who is currently

making a documentary of a moon of

Saturn, which could contain life.  It was

appealing and inciteful. Anyone play with Enceladus b4?

Amazing, the people you can meet online.

That is a nice story Jack, I have never played with that

guy myself though but I take your word for it, as it

is. There was this time when I also were playing with this gentleman who had

an emphasis on good manners, it was such an

inspiration to behold!

For not much time had passed before this gentleman told me his Life story, from

birth to present day. I could clearly see that this man was in

control of his own Life and I learned a lot! It didn't seem

sinful in anyway.

That was an evening I will Always remember. It

is just one of those moments that stick with you, you know.

You act like poetry is universal,
Only... it's not.
Live long enough and you will see that
Once something deviates from normal prose, it becomes poetry.
But, of course...
Some
People just cannot see this... and they
Insist that all poetry must rhyme and crap.

On that note, I do believe it is time to go get some alcohol and get to

Wasting scrubs as badly as I myself am getting wasted, so I'd best hop to
It, because those scrubs aren't going to school themselves.

I'd like to think that ME:A's rng is going to be less frustrating. But we all know what EA is

like. The worst case scenario is we'd have

to craft ever freaking weapon and spend 5x the amount of time and credits just to

make a single weapon. The one thing that would make the store

a hell of lot less painful, would be the stoppage of getting certain cards when they're maxed out. Packs that guarantee UR weapons would deserve a

toast in EA's honour for sure, but

to think of such things would only be torturing myself mentall, 'cause that'll never happen. Spending a million+ credits and getting

jack sh*t in return sucks, so that's why I never spent credits in bulk. If it wasn't

for the game's crazy RNG god for

creating all kinds of madness, there wouldn't have been moments where

the urge to impulse buy with actual money. Speaking of RNG and manifests, maxing your manifest at the moment feels like the

greatest accomplishment and it'll be cool to experience that again in ME:A. New topic: Now that MEA's had a somewhat proper reveal, I hope all the

cryptic teases will end. Every time Bioware tweeted something useless, it made me scream out foul

language at the monitor. Biower pls, don't screw up ME:A, it's got potential to be one the best games

ever made.....that's a bit of stretch actually. Biower, pls.
