What's interesting is that during the fight with Imshael, he calls out to Xebenkeck and Gaxkhang but NOT the Formless One. There could be any number of reasons for this — maybe it was destroyed or trapped, maybe it prefers to go by another name, or maybe it just didn't get along with the others. Perhaps the Formless One is the token good member of their little dance troupe?

No, Gax and Xeb can be dead (though Keep doesn't reflect it), yet Ims still calls out to them. I think the reason is because Gaxkang and Xebenkeck are actual names. "The Formless One" is a title, which means it doesn't have power. Names have power.
 

Plot twist:- The Formless One is the playable protagonist in all the games. That would explain how they we as players could have so many choices when it comes to race, sex and class selection (except for DA2), its because protagonist is formless.

I know. I meant that they can be slain by the protags in the real world, not necessarily wiped from existence. So yes, they probably still exist in the Fade, which means the Formless One could exist in the Fade as well, or it could be in the real world somewhere.
