I agree with Daisy it does feel like I'm denying Mr.Blackwall a happy after story if I did romance miss Josephine. But since I don't really like her character, or Cassandra's character I'm not going to be happy one way or the other.

That barn scene was so weird.. Eeeehhh..

Edit:-sighs- kicked again.

But the prospect of them being in a romance doesn't put you off?

Like, for me Fenris and Isabela getting together was a bit of a problem. But, I didn't care as it never happens as long as I romance either of them

I hate to sound rude but really you need to learn to compromise or deal with it. Now granted you have a bug which sucks and I'm sorry about that but if there was no bug you could easily ignore it and pretend it didnt' happen cause it doesn't happen if you don't trigger it or romance one of them.

I have compromised and dealt with it. That doesn't mean when there is a thread for requests I can't request for something I want.

And no, I can't just ignore it, especially when people argue that "just because you don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen" when it comes to pairings.

Ahh. Okay. I can't say I understand it necessarily. But, I see where you're coming from.
Though really, if you romance Josephine even before they began flirting you're not stopping anything?

I know it doesn't make sense, but I'm glad you at least can see my viewpoint.

And yes, I know it doesn't happen if you romance one(well, supposed to not happen anyway. Half of it does because of the before mentioned bug), but it still feels like I am ruining something. I can barely get through it as it is since I know nothing becomes of it, but if it was changed in DLC so that they do become a couple I couldn't do it without feeling miserable. Which especially sucks since other than that Josephine is the kind of romance I've been wanting for years. To wait that long and then have it not enjoyable when you get it hurts.

Actually... Now that you put it.. If he left an inquisitor in the barn to go off himself..

The first time dear Josie does get comfortable enough for that kind of activity, the night after she wakes up and finds him off doing something.. Oh my god.

I once agreed to that argument, after playing DAI, the bolded part. Then I found other games out there that cater to me. It was very easy to do that since a lot of games cater to hetereo males currently. It was silly for me to expect a game to cater to all of my desires. So I can understand the frustration for people to read that argument, and your logical reasoning for "i can't have as much fun as someone else because the toys aren't even or in my favor" argument makes sense. It's silly for people to think like it, but they do.

I don't like being bullied even when I ask for something, just to feel like it's more socially acceptable for someone to eyeroll gif me or write me off with a short one liner. I've tried, and it's "No it's our turn to have the attention now". That's why I'm a bit disappointed, and frustrated when I see others harassed and people encouraging for it. It's not just Not-Brevnau's and sexists that get the accepted hatred.

Calling eye roll gifs bullying and harassment. Thats what I cannot/will not take seriously. it could probably get to that point but I haven't seen it. People usually eye roll gif responses to cluelessness and sexism and really dumb logic (like blaming tumblr for the things they don't like about the game, which is hilarious).

When straight guys keep making comments about how straight guys got the short end of the stick while two other sexualities got exactly the same number of options of course people get tired of it enough to roll their eyes.

To me, romances have never been fair. There is always a group who gets more than another. They just switched it up with DA:I.

I cannot for the life of me understand why there is 8 romance options to begin with, regardless of who gets what. But I will admit there is a clear difference between groups of people. Bisexual females who play as an elf seem to get the most options. Second to that, straight females.

Keep in mind that it isn't just straight men -- it's lesbians and gay men as well, who only get two each. I'm just lucky I hit the jackpot with Sera because Josie doesn't appeal to me whatsoever. It has nothing to do with lack of sex scenes -- it's the dress and the politician status lol. I actually kinda dig the idea of courting somebody and being romantic, even if there is no sexy time. Besides, it is a game.. it isn't like I'm actually in my screen, getting it on for real.

Having said that, there are no doubt lesbians who are unhappy with their options. Just look at all the controversy Sera causes on Tumblr, for instance. And the issue with Josie as a romance option for females is that the fact that the whole courting and duelling scenario seems like a better fit for a male character, though I don't entirely agree with that. *shrugs* just opinions I have read a few times.

Same goes with gay men -- who's to say they like Dorian's character? Some perceive him to be a walking talking stereotype and not everyone is into that. Iron Bull's sexual promiscuity and constant references to hot females can be off-putting for them as well.

Adding to that, many of them want to romance Cullen or Blackwall instead.

I must agree with Malthier that constant, borderline obsessive complaining on the matter is kinda petty and embarrassing, and that's from any side of the coin.

I think sometimes, people forget that these are games, and while we have choices, we are still limited. We cannot do whatever we want.
