I don't think anyone would complain about anything if we had 2 romances for each preference, or maybe 3. But it's easy to see how one group getting two extra romances while the rest doesn't would be really unfair. Woman complained how the ME3 romances were unfair for femshep, and they were completely right about that. So they could have the courtesy to accept the complaint that men are getting the short end of the stick here (as homosexual people are, for the matter). But it's especially jarring how one of the romances is even denied something as basic as an sex scene. So in the end straight man and lesbian woman were particularly screwed by Bioware in this game when it came to romance
Most of us do accept that complaint. If I see a straight female poster repudiate a straight male complaining about the amount of options to their taste, it's usually just to point out that they aren't alone in the numbers game.
Or to just point out that it isn't as dramatic an advantage as some make it out to be, considering the race gating of the two extra romances.
Anyway, I sympathize with the perspective that Josephine and Cassandra are both pretty straight laced characters, both Andrastian and very pro chantry, and both of them have arcs that are pretty heavy on iconic romance. In both cases, you have to pretty much do all the wooing, in contrast with previous female LIs in this series who have been more likely to meet the PC halfway.
I sympathize a little less when comparisons to the options for other demographics start being drawn, because it's a little unbecoming when straight males have so little awareness of how far and how completely scales have been tipped in their favor throughout history. Often, the response to accusations of a sense of excessive privilege is to dismiss, ignore, or to actually argue that as a majority force in the gaming community, privilege is their due. In these cases, I completely get the eye roll gifs.
