I'm nearing the end of the game however I have yet to get the scene where Sera runs out of the room, her card hasn't changed yet ether. I got her romance scene, able to dance with her at the ball, etc... I tried everything, I can't seem to trigger it. Any suggestions?

I ended up with a bugged romance.  If it doesn't advance with the plot, I'm sorry to report you are probably boned:(.  I know how the romances work, and if it didn't trigger, it's not your fault, but at the end you will get the..."I wish we had more time" speech.

I romanced a number of characters before romancing Sera.  After I got in a relationship with her, even got up to the sex scene, after I went to go to the war table and I got Josephine's cut scene about dueling and her parents arranging a marriage.

Neither romance was playable.

I posted here.  I posted in the get advice, get stuff fixed area of EA...no bueno.

So first time no romance.  I was determined this character would be with Sera so I went back to when I first got to Skyhold.  This time I entered the romance, but it never advanced past the the Halam scene, even though I could kiss her.  Right before final battle I broke up with her, and romanced Cullen for the unlock, went perfectly.

Sooooo, I went back to Haven on the same toon, replayed everything, again...I have done all romance scenes.  I didn't get the unlock on the final scene like I did with Cullen though everything played through.  I suppose I will find out if I have succeeded or failed again.

If you go to Temple of Mythal and don't get the final bar sequence after, I'm afraid your romance is bugged.

I never found a solution.  I tried numerous times to get one, but had no luck.

Perhaps you will have more luck.

I am truly sorry if it doesn't work out.  Believe me, I empathize.

Best of luck.

Edit:  Boned does not need to be predictive text corrected to bones...sigh...predictive text please see urban dictionary.  I'm not that hip, but please don't correct me when I occasionally use common vernacular.

I heard that Vivienne has to be recruited in order to advance the romance?

Going to be pissed if that's the case. Went back before the ball and see if anything will change.

I did the Sera romance and it felt like everything took FOREVER to progress. The scene where she runs out of the room is the last scene you get with her before the end of the game, so maybe get to the cutscene in the war room where you say " All right time to kick ass and end this shenanigans" (I'm paraphrasing here =P) and then before you leave, go and do one last round with your companions, maybe that will trigger it. That would also be the last chance to get it going. The only other thing you could do is, trigger the cutscene in the war room and then go leave skyhold, go to some random zone and come back, try talking to Sera again. If it still doesn't happen then the game might have screwed up.

Edit: Never mind, I forgot that you can't do anything else after that cutscene in the war room ....

Yep, romance plays w/o it, or w/o taking advice, but I highly recommend it for the sake of humor.

BTW: I hope I'm wrong and your romance goes perfectly.  Really.  Fingers crossed!

Last note: It should trigger after Temple of Mythal.  So if you haven't finished that one yet, you're still cool.

All I have left is the final mission. I gave up, I'll most likely delete the save since it's pointless. I started this playthrough to romance Sera.
