Okay, forget all that. The most important thing is that I have a thread that is not currently locked. This (at least, for me) is a valuable commodity. I'd best not waste it. In that spirit, I present to you yet another new purpose to this thread: To discuss those dirty cheating Collectors.
Collectors Are Dirty Cheaters Part... I Dunno... 4?
I would like to revoke this captain's license. He has clearly hacked his coalesced. I mean, who does he think he is? A freezing, spinning, stasis'd Geth Hunter?
The original post and some other nonsensical stuff that I wouldn't bother to read, if I were you:
The questions sort of depend on each other, and I'm not certain I understand how TC works when activated after a weapon starts firing.
When I hold down the trigger to continuously fire my weapon, and then press the button to activate Tactical Cloak, firing the weapon does not break cloak (unless I release the trigger and press it again.) But from there, I'm not sure how it works.
1 - Does the TC's damage bonus begin to apply immediately, or only when cloak breaks?
2 - If Question one's answer is the latter, would TC then run its duration and end without ever applying a damage bonus (assuming that I did not release the trigger and re-press it at any point?)
3 - If Question one's answer is the former, would using the PPR on an Infiltrator with Duration Cloak be absurdly over-powered, receiving the full damage bonus for the entire firing time?
Of course, if the answer to three is yes, then question 4 obviously becomes, "Why aren't there more threads b*ching about how overpowered the PPR is on an Infiltrator? Which means the answer to three must almost certainly be no.
EDIT: Never mind, I confused Charge weapons for continuous-fire. Ignore this.
Edit 2:
Boy, if one wants to watch in full visual glory just how horrible one's aim is, the PPR is a heckuva way to do it! ![]()
