What's your opinion about Scions ? I dunno if they're more reactive on PC, but on consoles they're so slow to react that with good dps kits you can kill them without any reaction from them, nor defensive nor offensive. I don't find it to be a good design. 

 

errr... so how common is 20 headshots medal by the wave 2 on the consoles then hmm? 

 

Scions can be a hazard, depending on the situation, especially when they go possessed... Switching from carpet bombing to cannon mode is rather quick and if they manage to spread around the map (especially open ones) that can be unpleasant on gold and platinum... And you certainly get enough defensive and offensive, and not even get me started on their sync-kills hehehe

The PS4 gamepad can be used on a PS3, yes, I'm using it for a few months now. However, I don't find it better than the PS3 controller.

Thanks for the suggestion, appreciated. Would you happen to know if it's backward compatible with PS3s and/or supported natively by PC? There's a couple of titles i might end up coughing up PS4 for eventually but don't want for it to repeat my PS3 fate... so would be good to practice controller skills without paying for the whole system

 

Yes, PS4 gamepad works with PS3. It's what I'm doing. Just that you can't access the PS menu with it, so you kinda still need the PS3 gamepad for that. So don't throw the PS3 gamepad in the trash like everyone else just yet.

 

For PC compatibility. It's not like the X-Box gamepads. Think you'll need to download a program (called axis or something) to make it work on PC. Tried it before with a PS3 to see if it works, but noticed some input delay and couldn't figure out if I did something wrong. So I'm sure there's something for the PS4 gamepads now too. Plus I prefer the 360 gamepad anyway for my PC gaming.

 

 

Either way, buying a PS4 gamepad for my PS3 before getting a PS4 was the best thing I've ever done.

OT - I really can't see how folks don't see Collectors as the best designed faction. And it's the only thing that's giving my hopes up for future MEmp.
