I'm looking for some puzzle and card games.

 

I'm skeptical when it comes to Free 2 Play games so i'd like to avoid those. I'd rather just buy the game and be done with it, instead of being tempted to buy booster packs or what have you for the cooler things (I had a bad experience with Marvel Puzzle Quest and D3 in general.)

 

So I'm looking for suggestions as to what games are current and good in both the puzzle and card game genres. 

 

Platforms I'm interested in are Nintendo 3DS, PC, and Android.

Apparently Hearthstone is good. But it is free-to-play.

 

Sadly that's all I can recommend... unless if you're willing to go into a more puzzle adventure. Then Monkey Island series is really charming.

I was 100% objective in my selections. No game is more Puzzly, Boardy, Cardier than those!

I'd second Hearthstone, it's basically Magic but it's kind of addicting, at least for a couple hours I found.

Hearthstone is pretty pay to win tho imo. Unless you just like doing Arena drafts, but a beginner will have trouble sustaining their gold on dailies/arena winnings. But you can play it on your phone and pc, so that's a plus.
