No, most don't. I made a thread asking for more realism and consistency of the supposed science in the sci-fi... and people didn't like it, because they are afraid it would make the game boring. Romances are a subplot at best but for some it's the most important element of a game. -.-

 

True. You'd think us nerds would have other methods of dealing with romances. Just ask nat in the hat. I play videogames for other reasons.

 

Otherwise yes, realism and consistency is very important. Why the ME series got more and more disappointing.

Seriously, its hilarious how smug the MP forums are about playing a co-op PVE game mode. They tell people stuff like "learn 2 play" and turn their noses up at single-player content. It is genuinely funny to see braggarts boast about beating scripted computer AI that follows the same behavior every time they play. I have never seen a community of braggarts so proud of accomplishing so little.

I'm actualy looking forward to both SP and MP... SP might Possibly be slightly higher on the list since there are plenty of shooters out there for all your shooter needs. Still, ME multiplayer is welcome. Also, they got a budget for both SP and MP so I don't see how it's a problem. They most likely got different people working on it anyway with some cross over and sharing of game assets to make it fit together graphicly and I guess lorewise aswell as sharing certain Resources for maps and textures.

My biggest problem is that the consoles might be keeping the PC side back, least it's the new generation of consoles, which is becomming slightly more like PC's and they got a hardware upgrade that makes them half decent. At least there is something.

Multiplayer section does not have a Liara Porn thread that is 2,600 pages long and still active. When MP players complain about the game, they're talking about shortcomings in or frustrations with the gameplay: things like Geth Hunters shooting you while frozen, prone, and dead. Or Geth Bombers arbitrarily deciding they didn't get hit. Or Phantoms having 90 percent DR against the hosting player. Or Pretorians that shoot and grab in a 360-degree arc. Or Geth Rocket Troopers that shoot predictively from behind and through cover without facing you and then triple-tap. Or several dozen other things.

When SP players complain about the game, it's because the vision of the writers didn't make them feel quite enough like a precious space princess whose dreams all came true in pixels. I would like to see Bioware say, "This is our story, you sad, whiny little *******! This is what we thought would be a good game worth playing through. Either try to enjoy what we've made, set it down, or make your own damned game." Sadly, Bioware has let its games become about fan-service to whoever has the greatest sense of entitlement.
