this thread was moved?  It must have been posted in the SP section.  I wish it was still there.  Too many Doritos and Mt dew comments.  They want to fully remove MP too.  That's extremely rude.  I would never want a part of the game completely removed.  They are a mean bunch to be sure.

Seriously, its hilarious how smug the MP forums are about playing a co-op PVE game mode. They tell people stuff like "learn 2 play" and turn their noses up at single-player content. It is genuinely funny to see braggarts boast about beating scripted computer AI that follows the same behavior every time they play. I have never seen a community of braggarts so proud of accomplishing so little.

As an SP guy who dabbles in MP (gold is my absolute limit), and who lurks in MP threads quite often, I have to say that I do enjoy the *ahem* banter between everyone.

Even funnier is the fact that the SP people take everything so seriously.

Have you actually read the chart? There's a lot of dishonesty apparent in it.

 

Example: The cliche is "you must travel to four locations in order to save the world." Jade Empire: Your travels take you across the land. Conclusion: Strongly fits the cliche!

 

Or how about the evil organization thwarting your every move in Mass Effect 1 being...Cerberus? Huh?

Bronze is equal to Hardcore, except SP has a non existent cool down, doesn't need to aim, and has non balanced weapons.

Click on the ME3 MP forums here. Back in the day they were a mixture of arguing about nerfs and buffs, with a mixture of darn good advice about game mechanics. It was/is a great place to find people to play with who will bend over backwards to help you out, and everything you learn translates to SP combat strategy as well.

You're in an Andromeda forum. It's not single player or multiplayer exclusive as much as I know that pains some.

Wow.  It's refreshing to see someone skip blaming an inanimate object (a gun) on crimes that people choose to commit.

Right, I'll apologize as soon as someone says that they shot 30 people at school because someone called them a bronze scrub on BSN.

Actually I won't, because blaming actual victims for cracking the shell off of the nut when the nut decides to do something nutty is dumb.

Furthermore, I can't really think of any OTOH examples for western world mass murders in the past several years that were actually a result of bullying. Most of them involve political wackos or undiagnosed mental patients shooting people whom they had previously never really interacted with in public areas. (Sandy Hook, Anders Breivik, SC racist guy, Charlie Hebdo, Aurora movie theater etc.) So I don't know where you're getting "most shootings" from.

In fact "most shootings" statistically are overwhelmingly a result of criminal gang violence or warfare, not because someone's lunch money got taken.

I don't understand the reference. Is the man on the right an NPC? That would make sense for a non-competitive PVE game mode. Surely you jest about some form of competition between human beings in a CO-OP PVE game mode. If you want a competition, then I would highly recommend not playing games against scripted AI and instead PVP against real human opponents.

We need to give them some slack.  At this point they are reaching outside of the game and even the developer itself to defend themselves.  Even on a subject they are not an authority on at all.  What PVP does he play?

 

They are dragging the bottom of the barrel and we shouldn't count them out.  They are nice to have around.
