woot!!! just hit 200+ everything on all stats...I have reach super sayian lvl 2..... !!! I am so happy major goal accomplished ... and I just had to share it with the DAMP community ^^

 

 

200 constitution

250 willpower

212 cunning...

 

2500 hours played...!!!!

 

I have enjoyed my time playing in DAMP and I want to say thank you to all those who have helped me and ran with me...you know who you are ^^

and to those who don't like me.. I say go kick ROCKS lol I made it..!! cant nothing get me down...

 

also cant wait for the new DLC I hope the devs have added something to challenge me and those like me who have extremely high stats.... I love this game so much and I'll be playing and grinding for another 8 months ^^

I have a strong feeling that the new difficulty will severely disappoint people with the number of promotions that you have, unless they put a hard cap on promotion bonuses. 80% DR against all attacks will heavily negate any increase they institute.

Hmm. I did some math and we both get about 1/4th a promote per hour, when looking at total hours played. Total time played includes downtime of course, and time played while being less efficient at promote clearing. Higher promote per hour rates occur when actually playing instead of staring at the screen.

 

So playtime hours / 4 wouldn't be a bad rule of thumb for how fast to expect promotions with the current conditions. It won't be perfectly accurate of course, but I doubt many people will greatly deviate from it for extended lengths of time (since it includes downtime as well).

 

Actively killing stuff promotions / time are obviously faster, but these figures include inactive time from things like disconnects, lobby setups, load times and such, which is more realistic for long run projections.

I mean, who wouldnt like someone who literally claims to be a higher being than everyone else over something so menial?

Good job on the achievement. I think it would be a bit better recieved if you didnt do the whole 'Im better than all of you' thing though.

Question: dont you get bored? I mean, perilous has to be like playing routine at this point with stats like those. How do you manage to devote a good proportion of your life to this repetative game (which must be trivially easy for you now too) and still find it enjoyable? I get bored after 3 games in a row now. I cant imagine playing for hours on end. Id love to know how you do it without falling asleep

Not necessarily. If the damage is REALLY high it would work. Diablo 3 proves this. Only downside is unless you have capped stats it would be impossible.

The game has been released a bit less than 7 and a half months ago. Let's say 7,5 to make it easier:

 

2500 hours / 7,5 = 333,33 hours per month, or roughly 77,5 hours per week, on average. How the hell can someone play more than 77 hours per week on the same game for more than 7 months and not get bored?

 

Actually, how can someone play video games in general more than 77 hours per week? Don't you have to work, study or... just go outside and see the light of day?

the reasoning for my comment is that there are probably 40-50 people in the world with stats this high.  I would be very surprised if Bioware would put in a lot of development time for a base of players that is that small.  Diablo 3's player base was larger with regards to the top tier players.  If platinum from ME is any indication, it will be more difficult but accessible to many players.  Time will tell, but I wouldn't expect the difficulty curve to be that sharp that it eliminates all but 1% of the players from accessing the difficulty.
