Well, I helpfully place my glowing shield marker atop them to draw everyone's attention. I'm useful like that.
It's just too bad when we are in 'shield mode' we can't spam 'over here friends!' as we move our shields around the map.

Why only 8 months? ..DAMP servers will be on for years. Go for 1000 willpower / 1000 constitution / 10000 hours played.
...mostly would like to see if you can cross 10000 hours.
The game has been released a bit less than 7 and a half months ago. Let's say 7,5 to make it easier:
2500 hours / 7,5 = 333,33 hours per month, or roughly 77,5 hours per week, on average. How the hell can someone play more than 77 hours per week on the same game for more than 7 months and not get bored?
Actually, how can someone play video games in general more than 77 hours per week? Don't you have to work, study or... just go outside and see the light of day?

I have a strong feeling that the new difficulty will severely disappoint people with the number of promotions that you have, unless they put a hard cap on promotion bonuses. 80% DR against all attacks will heavily negate any increase they institute.
I have talked to some people and they have said "what makes you think that there is only one new difficulty coming out"(my source is reliable and is discloused (NDA)) .... secondly I don't believe there's a hard cap on any thing but crit , and only on crit because you cant have more then 100% if they have a hard cap on def then that means if they bring out any new difficulty then there's no chance to build a resist against there dmg it is only logical to assume there is no cap also... from my observations there apear to be no cap that I have noticed besides once again crit.... but I know some R{PG's have anti crit enemies so maybe cunning is more important then we assume it is after 200 either way I'm going to climb that mountain and find out

I have taken 2x 2 week breaks some days off and I dont p[lay as much due to summer courses in collage.... but I know some people like to think I have no life, so there minds can coupe with how awesome I truly am ![]()

I guess you can look at it that way but... if I am number one and I have highest stats on Xbox....and there is a leader board.. realistically aren't I above every one else Q.o I mean I'm like almost 100 points ahead of the closest active player on my server soooooooo yeah...

Hmm. I did some math and we both get about 1/4th a promote per hour, when looking at total hours played. Total time played includes downtime of course, and time played while being less efficient at promote clearing. Higher promote per hour rates occur when actually playing instead of staring at the screen.
So playtime hours / 4 wouldn't be a bad rule of thumb for how fast to expect promotions with the current conditions. It won't be perfectly accurate of course, but I doubt many people will greatly deviate from it for extended lengths of time (since it includes downtime as well).
Actively killing stuff promotions / time are obviously faster, but these figures include inactive time from things like disconnects, lobby setups, load times and such, which is more realistic for long run projections.

the reasoning for my comment is that there are probably 40-50 people in the world with stats this high. I would be very surprised if Bioware would put in a lot of development time for a base of players that is that small. Diablo 3's player base was larger with regards to the top tier players. If platinum from ME is any indication, it will be more difficult but accessible to many players. Time will tell, but I wouldn't expect the difficulty curve to be that sharp that it eliminates all but 1% of the players from accessing the difficulty.
putting in more then one more difficulty would solve your problem tiering it up having one for every man and one for the extreme would it really be all that hard to work on another difficulty at same time as the one we know about

If you are saying what I think you're saying, then there is obviously a cap on defense, since you have 200+ stats on everything, you would take zero damage from all enemies on the field, which I assume you don't, so there is your proof of that.
