Haven't done a topic in awhile. So what the heck, for old times sake. So lets turn on a light;

vlcsnap-2012-04-01-10h55m30s154.jpg So gather round while I tell another tale;

So been having a great time on the WiiU playing Mass Effect and leveling up my kits on... Silver. And playing with weak dps setups like a champ with my fellow WiiU pugs.

So why is it better to start out again on the WiiU? Because the WiiU pugs are weak and they need my protection. And sometimes I need protection from them. There's no Harrier X TGI's or other overly OP setup epeen issue players dropping in on Bronze or Silver here. Basically making playing Silver relevant again. Something I couldn't stand on other platforms, where I only took Gold or nothing due to no challenge.

I can't wait to play Gold soon too (once I put some more levels in other kits), and play Gold with even more challenge due to weaker pugs. Don't worry, WiiU pugs. I'm going old school with even weaker setups to make sure you all get some kills too. Plenty of epeen to go around.

You are ready for gold. You should be playing gold. You are easily better than a lot of other folks. I'm personally glad that Wii U doesn't have the later MP DLC packs. It keeps it unique vs the other platforms.

^ Yes, but I'm in no rush to max manifest. Kind of have to savor the moment too. Going to stick around with Silver until I level the rest of the kits to level 15 at least (having two maxed power for faster recharge speeds and 6x6 combos helps a ton).

Only problem with sticking to Silver is very low cash flow which leads to sometimes running out of gels entirely with no more cash to restock (basically I've solved the "Why pugs don't gel" mystery). My medi-gels got bumped to 3 but I never have more then 2 anyway. Cruel fate.

That and playing without any pierce mods and weapon focus almost makes Silver feel like Gold too (if I have to clean a two Banshee chase Silver wave with these weapons, forget it). And so many more mooks around can be very dangerous too. Lost count how many times I've turned a corner into 5 Cannibal stagger slaps of doom. And all that pew, pew on 1 or 2 point fitness build kit?! Deadly.

Humble beginnings once again.  For me, I went from bronze to gold and then back to silver on occasion.  Strange progression but that worked out well for me.

Pretty sure we can hack gold even on duo.  If we get Mateusz in, we might as well just sit and watch.  He'll do it all.  Easiest golds ever. lol.

^ Yes. I just wish I had more gels and ops packs already. Crazy how dependent I've become to these alone.

Remember that on Wii U, Missile, Ops, and Thermal clips are maxed at 5 while gel is maxed at 6. Makes all the difference when you're trying those solo runs.

What?! And yeah, that's right. The original max was 5 of each. Well, this at least contributes to less rocket abuse on WiiU too. Though I did see a Destroyer Striker missile glitcher on Silver yesterday for some reason that joined wave 9. Back in the lobby I placed a kick on him ASAP. Someone else did too, and he and the glitcher were talking about something I couldn't hear. Got to get in on the chit chat action. Everybody has a mic on WiiU because of the Tablet.

Yes. The tablet has the microphone and so we all use that to talk.  I cannot imagine using it with the pro controller, but I use the Gamepad tablet controller so I'm OK voice chatting.  Hook up the earphones to hear them better too.

By the way, how's your internet connectivity now?

I wonder if everyone else one day were to stop reading and posting in the ME3MP section, would you even notice?

It started disconnecting me again late in the evening. But I was ready for sleep by then anyway.

If I don't pick up that adapter today. For sure tomorrow.

No, because nobody talks about ME3mp here. Go back to retirement. Nobody notices you either. As there's lots of comedians around here. What this place needs is more ME3mp talking, which only comes from playing ME3mp. So this place is doomed.

And about the WiiU version? Your loss, not mine.

Nah, just make more usernames. One day it will be him and Boogie arguing in sixteen different usernames. :lol:

Well it's nice you guys forgot how to talk ME3mp, but I don't want any more of my threads locked. Plenty of other off topic threads around here.

That, and playing on the WiiU is a unique experience. Something that might help many of you to get back into actually playing again.

If you're sharing that, don't let it have any spinach. If it does, the suitrats won't be amused.

Just had like 8 matches in a row on WiiU with two pugs always sticking around and a fourth one always changing. Worked up an appetite. So heck to BSN & it's retired folk for now, I need to go get me some Canadian poutine ASAP.

You should really run that app to see what wifi signals are running in your area.  Although, yeah, you're getting the LAN adapter so soon we'll know if it addresses your problem.

You're now the reason I won't buy a WiiU, thanks.

The allure is now completely gone.  Don't try to

con people into believing that this system is so

rad & cool.  Compared to the rest, it's the Conrad

Verner of the systems, a wannabe.  Finding people

of like mind as you will be the challenge of

the ages.

BSN, it's a trap!

Congratulations for throwing the community out the

window with the inane threads, you evil boot

licker.
