Since when did the Offtopic forum section become the forum's wastebin? Spam topics get moved there on a regular basis now when it was my understanding that such spam is supposed to get locked/deleted instead.

I kindly ask for a clarification regarding that trend as I had not seen any notice about a change in the website's ToS/RoC. If I missed a memo documenting the change in forum moderation, please tell.

Thank you

In light of another spam thread having been moved from the ME3 MP forum section to offtopic, I will renew my initial question.

I will likewise emphasise my critique by saying that moving a spam topic to another section where it equally not belongs to basically equates to the moderator in question unnecessarily spamming him-/herself by giving such ToS violating posts a new audience. That can hardly be the intent for the moderation staff.

Wack mods. Perhaps it's also to bait the off topic section of the forums as well to see how many members they can slap with warning points.

Slightly related, so I will post this here.

Yesterday, I made a post in the ME:A forums, titled "HoF in Andromeda? Thoughts?"

Now, this post was considered spam, deleted and I was given a warning point. Despite a countless other "spam" threads of the same type.

As you can see, none of these were deleted and one can assume that no warning points were given, considering they are still up.

Now I am far from a "model BSN user" -- regardless, this is ridiculous. Seems I'm the only one getting a warning point for something others have done.

And who's to say it was spam? In truth, my thread was a light-hearted joke thread to give people a laugh. Is it a crime now, to have fun?

You know, what if I actually was serious?

Look, I've had warning points before. Normally I wouldn't care. But I'm seeing a lot of "selective" moderating here. And I'm one of those people who cannot stand special treatment for some and punishment for others.

By all means, give me another warning point for expressing my frustrations. It will just prove my point.

Woah, how is my thread spam? Btw, got a warning point yesterday, my first, just to make clear I don't get any kind of special treatment.

Is one of those threads yours?

I don't consider any of them to be spam, at least on their own.. the "spam" part is all the people making threads with the same name  my point is, why did I get a warning point, and my thread deleted, the reasoning being "spam" when the others are still up?

Nothing against you or anybody else.
