Should there of been RNG map layout & enemy spawn locations?

This topic was inspired by that first Niniendowarrior match I had on Firebase White on WiiU. And to lesser extent; all the bored retired folk around here. Hanging around like it's their home garden to keep busy with for the rest of their retired lives - as the best they could come up with.

As I was playing the old Firebase White, I was quite surprised by how fresh it felt for someone too so close to retirement myself (except I plan on bouncing to other games & forums). What a difference two short hallways and an extended ramp can make. So at the very least I think BioWare could of come up with some other simple stuff like this for a RNG generated map feature - if taking the simple easy route. That and here's hoping for ME Adromeda MP.

Mine was.

But this is a good topic. BioWare needs to take notice. Which can only be done if fans take notice. Getting sick of so many retiring so soon. And no reason why this game shouldn't of had way more replay value. So this idea is very good. Spread the word.

Yes, I agree with OP too. Instead of the Hazard maps, this feature should of been installed instead to keep replay value higher. Of which the hazard maps don't do anything for replay value. Many folks retired just after one week after trying the last 2 DLC character kits. One week. I kid not.

As for spawn locations, I wish Biower did MP spawns similarly how they did it in SP. Enemies should not appear out of thin air in your line of sight. Scratch that, they should not appear out of thin air anywhere.

They should appear like Reapers did in SP - crashing down in comet things. They should drop Atlases like in SP, they should arrive in shuttles, jet boot from somewhere, they should arrive in Mako's, or get dropped by Geth ships.

Do you mean having the maps have random features and spawn points like the Diablo III dungeons do?

Yes, another great idea. I like this a lot. The older maps have some of this too, though. Too bad not all of them were done like this (ie. from the top of Giant map pillar is a pretty good example, even though still out of thin air. At least it's some effort).

Yes. So maybe not as extreme. At least for there to be something. Like how Firebase White had those boxes all moved into that one room, it's enough to change things up a bit. (But I like that stage with the box/cargo containers being out instead of sealing the room. Makes the stage more interesting)

They get stuck more often than not on Reactor scaffolding, Ghost dumpsters or White's shuttle area, where they suppose to jet boot up.

If spawns were randomized, yes I'm certain

you would be more challenged, but if you

sat in any location long enough, enemies'd be

on top of you at any given point.  That'd cause

a lot of BS deaths, I'm sure.  To see waves of

traffic of enemies is more realistic within your

cone of vision, rather than *poof* instagib.

I bet there'd be a lot more complaints than praise.

Bet on it.

You are on the right track, but randomizing spawns

wouldn't be the answer.  What Binary Helix said is, I

feel, quite interesting.  As long as you have

a visual indicator, then the randomness would be a good

thing, actually, and would add to the mayhem of an actual battle.
