...at least so far. What are your Crowning Moments of Awesome (etc.)?

Mine would be:
- the Paragon interrupt during the quest where you defend the quarian on the Citadel. I absolutely adored that moment. Makes you feel like one kick-ass Paragon.
- the Paragon interrupt during Tali's mission on the quarian lab ship... so very touching.
- Conrad Verner... you'll be very tempted to go Renegade there.
- Mordin's quest dialogue is very, very interesting... possibly the best "morality" quest BioWare has done so far.
- the bartender on Ilium - we should have had the opportunity to take her instead of Samara... that's one asari you wouldn't want to cross.

I think the Normandy crash site deserves a special mention. It's made for fans of the first game, of course, and many will dismiss it as completely useless.
There's a lot of other stuff... So much in fact that I don't remember everything. Might post some later.

Gotta agree with Mordin's personal quest. Completely awesome writing and struck me as I'm very skeptical and science minded. Mordin stole ME2 for me, he's not just simple comedic relief, he's someone with a real, solid set of moral values set by an atheistic and scientific view. Kudos to whoever wrote him, they did their research.

-hugging tali after she discovers her father is dead

- defending that quarian is also good

- selling that fake fish to that very naive krogan was deliciously renegade, but also a bit mean

- completely destroying that collector ship with the upgraded normandy guns

- all team mates surviving the suicide mission

- discovering the Collectors are actually dna modified Prothean that was a great twist

- using renegade options (no not punching her) on the reporter when you took the decision on concentrating on Sovereign, you can tell she was quaking in her boots.

-The first reveal of the Normandy 2 and Joker's line of "It's good to be home isn't it"

-Listing off the names off all the ships that fell in the Battle of the Citadel to the report

- Hugging Tali after finding her father died, even my renegade character did that one.

-Wrex taking my hand and calling me his friend.

-Headbutting that jerk Krogan while talking with the Shaman.

-Mordin singing "I am the very model of a Scientist Salerian" parody of Gillbert and Sullivan

-Shooting Conrad in the foot

-Telling off the Allusive Man after the Collector Ship mission.

-Actually... alot of the combat based Renegade Interrupts basically because it does a great job of showing just how Bad-Ass of a Marine/Spectre Shepard is supposed to be.

Mordin's quest for me, too. Definitely my favorite of the bunch, for the same reasons.

Mordin's singing and quest. Legion's quest, too. Blacking out after drinking too much on the Citadel (and the conversation with Jack afterward, if you bring her along) and the drinks on Illium. The god level biotic Volus. The paragon interrupt for Tali's mission is why I have such trouble sticking with Jack as a love interest...

^Tell me about it. There are no other love interests in the game after that.

Oh yeah... that's pretty much why I couldn't either.  I had planned for Jack since the previews and then I found out Tali was actually romancable went "Hmm, second playthrough maybe" then I hold her as she cries and I go "Jack who?"

Which reminds me of another awesome moment, exploring Jack's room/cell during her loyalty mission.

lol mine too, i imagine the citadel won't be too happy with me in ME3 lol.

I agree - that was good timing.

Tali's paragon moment is really strong, better than a lot of movies can actually depict drama...  ME2 for Oscar?

I really like the attack on the Normandy. It was like, they had you doing side quests and stuff to really get to know your crew... and then they announce that you can go do the endgame by kidnapping all of them. Unfortunately I wasn't ready to go and everyone except Chakwas died >.<
