They keep saying the Engine is Amazing..yet they can't even make nice hair with it 

 

No Bioware dev has ever blamed Frostbite for hair being the way it has been.

I agree with better hair please, especially the change from combat hair to casual hair.

 

Also there is no excuse for no cornrows in the ME trilogy or in DAI.

Honestly though. I wouldn't hold my breath. If there's one thing all Bioware games have in common it's awesome characters and awful haistyles and headgear.

well in fairness if we don't let them know we want a step up in this areas there is no chance of it changing so we have to let them know this is an area we'd like them to at least consider working on for future games even if it's not included in Andromeda although we hope it will be. Given the game it'self isn't out until the end of next year they certainly have time to think and maybe consider doing something about it.

Part of the issue I think is the decision to have the hair options be the same for both genders. The undercuts appeared designed for male characters, so when paired with a female character it was more androgynous than the more feminine examples of undercuts posted a few posts up. That's no problem if thats the look you are going for with your character, but if not there are maybe a total of two options that aren't some variation of bald, receding hairline, or a masculine looking undercut. There was also a lack of any long-haired options.

Agreed that's why I generally prefer longer hairstyles for women. It would be better if they designed female hairstyles for the femasle protagonist and Male ones for male really as it makes sense instead of matching the 2 up which I think is what's causing a lot of the issues in DAI. Admittedly as I said in earlier posts they were trying to mix multiple species together which may have limited the options in some areas given they can now focus on humans for this game and they'er more familiar with the engine it may make things a little easier going into this game. Only time will tell of course

It's gross and unfeminine regardless, and still short as well. The average guy would see it as a red flag at that, and avoid instead of simply ignore.

I think it can be super hot and shouldn't be left out of the CC simply because a few guys might ignore it. The more variety the better.

It contains very short hair, which is a big no no for me. Shorter than anything I've had as a male in fact(part of what makes it such a turn off).

Personally, I prefer my women to have shorter hair than me. Now, admittedly, mine is currently past my shoulders, so that gives a lot of leeway, but in general, I think women look very good with shorter hair (though, obviously, it is dependent on the woman in question). Maybe not all over buzzcuts, but stuff like the first one in Boost32's post above is very nice, and not in any way un-feminine, and even the one in the DA:I screenshot would've been good had it kept the sort of length on top of the head all the way down the sides.

Not everyone is so ignorant to think his/her taste is "the most", fortunatly.

Anyway, should be haircuts in there for average rednecks as well for all other tastes, i guess.

Can't be that difficult to add a few long, mid-length and short haircuts for each gender, for we only got one playable race.

Wasnt trying to be bossy, internet doesn't carry well intent.
Neither I want only undercuts, was just saying they are hot.
