I can only assume that the first one wasn't considered successful enough.

Let's assume for the moment that it is satire. It never ceases to amuse me how people on this board have trouble identifying such obvious satire.
A romance tied to MP result? that's plain dumb.
Can't MP fanatics just go play something else together? CoD and company are quite a lot out there.
I have no intention of payng the PSplus for playng a modality I hate, with people I'm probably going to hate, with a gameply I hate, for reasons I hate.
Basically, any kind of interference of the MP modality in the game, and the game will never enter my home.

Uh, no thanks. Keep them totally separate like Dragon Age: Inquisition did. No need to keep turning this into an issue. This was attempted in ME3 already and didn't go down well with SP players. Even in some multiplayer focused games you can play the "campaign" if there is one without needing MP to get the most out of it. So I wouldn't expect this to be too much to ask for a single-player series.
No. MP should not even be in ME At all.
Prepare thy panties because they shall soon be twisted.
All those things are undesirable in singleplayer as well as society at large, so why should they be required? Biower had to waste time and resources explaining the smell of Tali's sweat in SP that could have gone to other things because of weirdos that do things such as that.
There are actual, ingame MP achievements for completing a Plat solo as Mr. Bateman mentioned, so it is already developer approved activity. Moreover, it socially elevates you above your peers due to your superior ability, not gets you (rightfully) put in a mental asylum.
He's doing to your arguments what he did to Paul Allen
Why don't I deserve anything? What is the reason. Personally I feel like there should be some type of award like companies have an "employee of the month" for people that appreciate their games and really support the company the best they can.
It's a game....its not like its a major deal or something huge to ask. It's realistic and should be done. MP gamers deserve rewards in MP AND SP.
Again, you don't "deserve" anything, and like I said, I'm all behind SP bonuses as long as they're small.
Also, it IS a big thing to ask of a gaming company. Bioware makes RPGs, they may not be making particularly good ones these past few years, but that's what they make. People were outraged enough when they had MP affect ME3's SP, so how do you think they'd react with your crappy plan?
You sound kind of bitter. Is everything ok over there? In MP you can take out your aggressions on as many enemies as you want. It's more refreshing than going to the same place, fighting the same enemies, in the same spots, doing the same things, over and over and over.
That's exactly what MP is, going to the same places and fighting the same things over and over again. As matter of fact, that's EXACTLY what ME3's MP is.
A romance tied to MP result? that's plain dumb.

I'm not bitter. It's just unjustified the hate and comments MP people receive on this forum from SP gamers. Especially when MP gamers put much more time and effort into the game. Also the unappreciative rage from the SP gamers and the love and acceptance from the MP side. Not "me", but MP gamers as a whole should be a little nod because of this and being skilled at the game.
I don't care about how anyone sees me or if they envy me. I want the best game and experience I can get. Period. This is why some of the money and resources devoted to SP need to be diverted to the MP. EVERYONE has the opportunity to play the MP if they wanted these great additions to the game. If they choose to not get them then that is their choice. There is no reason to be jealous of something you can just as easily get yourself. They are bonuses and additions to the game that are no different than "pre order bonuses" and I don't hear people crying about that.
MP gamers give the love and should get the love.
It's not unjustified, Bioware makes RPGs, and you're coming in here asking them to change it in a terrible way in which only a select few who play the game (which you believe you are a part of) can benefit.
As for being "loving and accepting", MP in most games are the opposite of that. I haven't seen any love and acceptance here in this forum from any MP players. As for "putting more time and effort into the game", that's your opinion, not a fact at all. Some people play SP in RPGs over and over again as different classes and characters to make different choices. As for "unappreciative rage", why would I appreciate you in the slightest? You're either a damn idiot or annoying troll, either one is reason enough for me to dislike you.
Also, you obviously want people to see and envy you, that's the whole damn point of what you're doing. As for getting 'the best experience you can get", then go play a MP based game, not an RPG, because apparently that's all you want.
Also, if everyone can get these rewards, then what's the point of having them at all? But wait, I thought you said this was for the people who play on the toughest difficulty, etc? Also, people usually do dislike pre-order bonuses, but most people don't complain due to the fact that the bonuses are either small, timed, useless, superficial, or released at a later date as cheap DLC.
Anyway, I don't see you giving anybody love, but I'll gladly give you my hate.
It's always good to acknowledge those that are more dedicated. It will add more to the game and is very fitting in the military service the game offers.
Playing MP doesn't make you more dedicated
That's life. The people who do the most get the biggest shaft. I'm ok with this. We have killed way more Cerberus, Geth, Collectors and Reapers so its fitting.
Dude, most SP people have played ME3's MP, so subtract all of our kills from the people who only played the game for MP, and you'll have A LOT less kills. In addition, people have killed a lot of enemies in SP as well, and you have no proof of the overall MP kills being more than the overall SP kills. In addition to this fact, MP lets you carry around insta-kill rocket launchers that people exploited for a long-time, as well as cheap abilities that let you camp in crates, etc.
Oh good are we going to argue about who are and aren't real fans again?
I think people are just joking about that in this forum.
lol. see the thing is, bsn doesn't really care if it's trolling. bsn is actually glad you brought it up because they wanted to talk/fight about it anyway.
trolling only serves the greater whim of the bsn.
that's always the real punchline with these things.
my opinion

Well if you like multiplayer, it´s a reward in it itself. Why should you get something for it in the SP campaign? You don´t get multiplayer benefits for completing the SP game on a higher difficulty either.
That's exactly what MP is, going to the same places and fighting the same things over and over again. As matter of fact, that's EXACTLY what ME3's MP is.
but that's what the singleplayer is too
Too a much lesser extent, yes
Keep them separate. Make it simple.
Is there a department I can contact to try and recover the brain cells that I lost reading this thread?

Can't recover what doesn't exist anymore, Jer.
I think you mean "affect"
effect is a noun.

Four score and seven years ago, our forefathers created for this nation a great conflict around which the future would unfold. No more can the North stand idly by while the South's "human only" protagonist decides the outcome of our battles. The multi-species Northern army must fight for the voices of all species to be heard in the great BSN civil war.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I've heard The Book of Mormon is playing at Ford's Theatre in Washington, and I love theatre. I'll be back to finish my speech before you know it.

Last time I counted, I still had over a dozen left. I lost count after I passed out drunk last night, though, so I might be off by one or 2.
