Gotta admit that this community is amazing, making it hard to

leave for another game.  I'd love to have a giant BSN bash with

you all, maybe even a huge LAN party!  I think maybe we should

all meet up in Vegas and go crazy!  It'll be like a special edition

Behind the Monitor!

And it's always fun to see what people are like.  To put a real

face to the BSN nick would be surreal.  Most fun (other than 

the buffets) would be the giant LAN parties we could have.

Truth is, we would destroy the city of sin, like sin has destroyed BSN

Anyway, keep the positive stories coming.  It's positively something that

the BSN needs now more than ever!  Too many threads full of hot, sweaty

wind covering the front page.  In the current state, this section absolutely

blows, but we can turn it around!  BTW, GI Javelin 20 headshots by W3!  w00t!

I ran into a PUG who never played Gold before.  To be honest, I

don’t even know if he knew he was joining a Gold lobby.  Did he

wanna try Plat?  (muahaha) I ninja changed the difficulty & expected him to

die on every wave.  Surprisingly, he didn’t.

 

I was actually shocked to find that he held his own, even when he

sometimes found himself alone on the other side of the map!  I

wish I could have seen how he did it.  If I’d known he was competent,

I’d have bled out just to watch lol.

Never have I seen such a turnaround from the initial shock of having

been ninja’d into Plat to such decent play from a PUG.  My faith was

born again in the game and the players.

At the end of the match, the guy was so stoked and screamed, “Look at

all the credits!  That was so intense!”  … good times, indeed.

I had a weird game today in which I spawned in to a GIP and couldn’t

see the enemies.  Has this weirdness happened to anyone before?  Is it

a well known issue?  I could only see 2 of 3 teammates, and it was a

little weird to me that only 1 showed up on the scoreboard.  Suddenly, a

silhouette of a phantom pops up and gibs me!  WTF? 

Oh man, I was so confused.

Of all the games I’ve played, this was the most surreal.  It was almost like

a dream how I was being attacked by nothing at all.  I felt bad, but

man, I just had to drop.  Weird, huh?  Still love this game though

Will anyone be playing tonight?  I’d like to start playing with

you all more regularly.  We can do some UUGs, UUPs, or

do some themed runs.  Whatever is cool, just let me know

the plan.  But please be forewarned that it’s hot here, so my

fan will be on.  I’ll mute the mic if it’s bad.  I’ll also be eating

dango, so I hope that doesn’t bother you either.  Mmmmm

Thunderbolts, my human engineer, did surprisingly well in Plat.  I was skeptical

and worried because of the light weapon loadout, but thank goodness for chain

lightning!  FEs & TBs galore!  He was surprisingly effective, and it ended up being a

very easy game overall! 

Very impressed!  I started to wonder what other vanilla kits would do well.  What

frightening results!  All of them are amazing!  It takes a special game to surprise

me still after 3 years.  Love it!  Does the game still surprise you all?

EO!  Speaking of real, heroic figures of history, do you think it’s possible

Galileo might have spotted the first mass relay?  He’s my favorite astronomer. 

Galileo would have loved Mass Effect, I’m sure. 

Golly, I think he would even be on my friends list!  He’s an Aquarius, I’m a

Leo, we’d do some fantastic duos together!

Galileo, you rock!  I bet he’d discover the beautiful Javelin GI in no time and sing

“Figaro!” while he sniped (the Jav is the closest thing to a telescope).  He’d scream

“Magnifico!” with every beautiful headshot.  Man, history is so badass.

I’m in awe of how good the Valkyrie is (the gun). It is 

just astonishing!  I remember hating it the first time, but

a year later, I’m actually loving it!  I slapped it onto the TS

(poor lolectors), and heads were popping like crazy!

Boy, that was fun!  It’s weird because, on the BSN, almost

nobody ever talks about the gun.  It’s okay, Valkyrie, someone

loves you…

Me!  Anyone have surprising 2^nd chance experiences like that?

I am out of likes dammit. I

need biower to increase the daily limit. On topic, don't you hate it when there are

no viable plat PUG lobbies around? I hate playing with n00bs, and show em no

sympathy. No free rides from me.

 

I so want to play with these noobs that everyone bitches about. I love the challenge of carrying scrubs and hauling their asses to extraction.

 

But all I ever get are people who know what the **** they're doing. I hate that!

Spare me the trouble and take all my likes already. I used to say "Jack Crapper, nobody write like

him!". But now, it has just taken another level. I often wonder where do

his writing skills come from. I couldn't have managed that Galileo passage to save my own

life. This is the kind of post that always keeps me

from leaving the BSN completely. A place where you can find threads like

this one can't be completely bad. It has seen its share of

monstruosity but at the end, BSN rulez! Jack Crapper, marry me!

Easy choice for me, Kouzrah... Yes!  But before you 

come to California, I have to admit something.  It's not

easy for me to tell you, but I'm married already.  Will you

go make the ultimate leap and become Mormon? It

will allow us to live happily all together!  Unless, of course,

you think it will bother you to only have odd dates with me to

let our love blossom.  If you want even, that's also fine with

me, but odd nets you more days/month most of the time.

We are seeing the collapse of celebrity here!  Oh well.  I

will get back to ME3 MP now and why I love it so much.

Not any other game ever has kept my fascinated and

let me escape as well as this game does.  I'd think that

you all would agree with me, since you're here and all.

Go and try to convince me otherwise.

 

Let me tell you about the last game with the GT.  Me and

him took down an unshielded Atlas in one cast.  The Prime had to

go and ruin it by sync'ing us on wave 3 though.  Mission failure

Bees are wonderful creatures and I always thought - silly

me - that the Mormon communities were like hives. But what if I get

ill? Don't Mormons reject technology and modern medicine?

Ah! I am mistaking them for the Amish. My knowledge of American cults is

we don't have anything like Mormons and Amish. I

will however think very seriously because half of your heart is

not perfect but it is better than nothing. I will

let me think a nanosecond.  Of course I could not refuse this request from
