Perilous players are generally just assholes, on pc at least they are. I had some jack off yesterday keep telling me where to go on the map because i was 'blocking spawns'. Ive also had people tell me what class to play, and even what abilities to use. I think theres only a handful of guys who have actually been chill in and treat this game like a casual minigame and not the f*cking counterstrike world championships.

I'd still teabag you knowing that you're female. Because I believe in equality. Yeah, that's why.
I can attest to that.
Cirvante's an as* to everyone, no matter the gender. Joking dear
.
Otherwise, the DAMP community has been one of the most friendly to women as a whole that I've ever been in. I haven't ever gotten a mean comment that was gender-specific nor any way leery advances. Even ME3 MP was kind of worse, because occasionally on the forums there another woman-discussing or even women-hating thread seemed to pop up.
You guys are awesome.

In my experience, women are much more relaxed and casual about this game than the guys on my friends list when Perilous is concerned. So my party usually is my girlfriend, myself, and a some other chicks on our FLs, or just pugs.

To be fair, I tried doing FC exp farming runs with Penguin some time ago and he kept running into spawns because the Despair Demons hurt his feelings or something. It can be incredibly frustrating when you're trying to milk the spawns and somebody messes it up. It's like back in mass effect when somebody would mess up a Glacier/Platinum speedrun by not blocking a spawn correctly.
It's the reason why the top players would rather solo or duo than let in a pug for those kinds of games.

Wow!!!!! What kind of jackass would do something like that?

I tell all players what to do indiscriminately, regardless of their gender. The noobs are the only ones that don't like it. The smart ones wise up quickly after beating the hardest challenges around.
Agreed to a point, advising players on tactics and builds based on your experience is fine. Telling them what to do, well if you are the host/leader agreed, but not if you are in a pug and not the leader. However, we both agree that gender does not enter into it.

I had a great time playing with you (more than once) - but that one time when you smoked something (mushrooms?!
) was particularly funny
Haha, that sounds like me on a Friday or Saturday night. I hope I did not babble on too much (tend to when I'm stoned).

I guess he means that they are relatively covered up.
Otherwise, I wouldn't call even the assassin's tunic "sensible". My leather jacket and jeans are more armored than her clothing situation.

It would be rude not to. I still remember one friend (a guy) on ME3 who stopped me feeding another friend (a girl) to a crab simply because she is a girl. I waited till extraction then downed them both with a possesed abomb, extracting alone - i'm big on equality that way.

It is quite nice knowing I'll be able to play video games as an old geezer. I thank all of you fogies that give me hope.
Yes I have noticed that there are a lot of "old fogies" in this game. I try and avoid them as they usually smell of mothballs and lavender. As a young 58 year old I like to keep to my youthful age group ![]()

Take a guess on how often I'm host and/or carrying others given my experience and stats. No ill-will judgement on you. Just guess. You're already smarter than most by figuring out the conditions exist, just take the next logical step forward. Also guess how often taking charge swings failing & wiping to winning (because why would I bother otherwise if I'm the one being carried given I am tremendously lazy -- other players can vouch for that)
Sometimes there's complaints, but those are either drowned out by gtfo kicking of idiots or success from those with a brain.

Yes I imagine that you host most of your games, so fair point. I think that I am a reasonable player, and not a bad leader when I host. I do like joining pug matches as you can never tell what kind of player(s) you will come across. I met my best mate in the game this way, and we tend to play at some point every day. When I have joined a pug game I follow the leader's plan, speed run, open or not open doors to treasure rooms etc. If none of my friends are on I usually just create a lobby, start and see who joins.
Apologies to all, getting off the topic.

Hehe. Yes I am 58, nearly 59. Maybe it had something to do with that operation I needed after I had a mishap with a chainsaw (just joking).

As a female, I fondly teabag my friends (and occasionally devs, although there is overlap between devs and friends for me), even though I technically don't have a teabag to teabag with.
But the feeling's still there, and that's what counts.

As far as I'm concerned you're all robots anyway.

I thought you were talking about me for a moment. Then I remembered the victim I saved from your evil machinations was Smeckie. And now I'm still not sure.
