Absolutely.
I played Half-Life with a mouse+flightstick. Everything should be customizable.

I play a lot of driving games with WASD. I don't find it to be a problem.
Yeah I tend to use the arrow keys asme as for basic movement s shouldn't be a problem. I do use the mouse sometimes on the Hammerhead though but only in that section wiith the volcano when you have to really use the Hammerheads speed and get out of their in the Firewalker DLC
According to the listing that IGN out up for the games announced at E3 this year they list Mass Effect: Andromeda for PS4 and Xbox One only. Is this true or will there be a PC Port. If it is Console Only There will be 1 less game for me to pre-order.
And you checked IGN to confirm this
They're likely to review Star Citizen on PS4, even when the game is supposed to be PC exclusive.
I thought you meant if there will be a PC version or just a PC port. Probably it will be just a port, maybe it will have some AA options or some cooler lightning effects and that's about it.
The thing I really liked about the Mako was that movement controls and camera controls were separate, so I could drive with WASD while looking around with the mouse at the same time.Yeah I tend to use the arrow keys asme as for basic movement s shouldn't be a problem. Some games make you look forward while moving with WASD. I don't like that.
yeah fortunately most games are pretty customisable these days at least the PC versoins are which is good for me as well because with my diasbility it makes it easier for me to play them given i only have 1 hand to control everything with. It's a real pain when conrtols are locked to one setting. That's why i kind of primarily play on PC and only really use the consoles mostly for the sports games.

The Mako was difficult on PC, imo, because the psychics were totally off.
Once you got the hang of them though, you could do the craziest things with it.
tbh I just usually zoomed in and took my enemies out at range most times which eliminated most of my problems. The only real times i have significant problems were dealing with the Thresher maws. Managed to deal with them but it wasn't easy.

It took me a long time to get a handle on the Mako's controls on the PC, but I eventually learned to just orient myself perpendicular to my targets and just move back and forth to dodge attacks and blast them all from range.
But the other thing that was... just not designed to be done on a PC were the hacking mini-games (at least until ME3). ME1's being the most difficult as you had limited rotating motion with a mouse.

I use the keyboard for the ME1 hacking as well as for the pad type hacking in ME2 as well. The door lock hacking I use the mouse though.
The PC can be upgraded, not as consoles, so there will be a PC version, well for me is going to be in the Xbox1 that i've already save the money for and the collectors edition ..and dlc.
Every time.I got out of the Mako for extra XP

They actually designed a completely different hacking subgame for the PC, on the consoles it was basically "Simon Says".

As my Inquisitor would say you'd have to be stupidly brave or bravely stupid to attempt that. Given how dangerous those creatures are.

The thing was difficult in general because it cared less about physics than horses in Skyrim do.

The trick is to take out 95% of the target's HP, park the Mako on top of it, and then get out and shoot it for extra XP.

Hunh... I had no idea. The PC hacking minigame really seemed to have been designed for a controller. Maybe they got them backwards. ![]()
Didn't have any problems with it. Quite sluggish, yeah, but still simple.
What I hate most about the mako is it aways penalized me, halving the xp I got from kills. It's almost impossible to get to level 50 or 60 using it's cannon to fight, so I aways found myself exiting wen enemies appeared, it didn't make any sense.
Actually, it did. The Mako, when you're not in it, is indestructible, so it provides excellent cover. What I hate most about the mako is it aways penalized me, halving the xp I got from kills. I know that, and I know we can hit the enemy with the cannons until they are almost dead then exit the mako and shoot them to get the full XP, but think with me. You have a war tank with a powerfull cannon mounted on it, why the hell you would exit it to fight on foot? lol

It reminded me of Gyruss.
While it was possible to use the keys, you couldn't control the speed, so I found it even tougher than using the mouse with it's limited range of motion (but with great speed control).

that's the main reason i don't i pretty much consider it I've been given thistank for a r5eason and that's to blow things up.
All ME PC ports are quite lazy - they barely have any graphical settings.
At least they run at consistent 60 fps even on mediocre hardware.
The Wii U and PS3 ones aren't spectacular, either.
And everyone playing on the PC will complain about the new Mako.
