I am wondering if there is any option not to sacrifice Isole. I am playing a Mage warden and i do not want really to kill Conor. The only options i get seem to be kill Conor or Sacrifice Isole to enter the Fade. Using the mages in the circle tower to open the fade is mentioned but the only options i seem to get is not to use them.

So is it Conor or isole

You don't have to kill either Isolde or Connor. You can use the mages to enter the Fade.

Using the circle mages depends on if you have cleared the circle tower of it's troubles, and chose to side with the mages instead of the templars.  Even if you haven't been there before doing Redcliffe, the circle mages should be mentioned in the conversation you have with Teagan and Isolde after confronting the demon in the main hall.  Alistair will confirm, yea they are close and if you have already cleared the tower you can even add "They owe me".  You should get an option to go there even if you haven't been yet, and the option comes up to solve the problems in the circle when you get there.

Yea, what they said!  You do not have to sacrifice anyone.  You can have a mage go into the fade for you (if you are a mage you can go in yourself).  You must go to the Mages tower and get some other mages to help with the ritual.  As said above, this can be done whether or not you have already visited the tower.  However, if you have not already visited the tower, once you get there you will have to play through that quest first in order to get (cannot think of his name) the head mage to enlist his help.  However, be prepared.  The tower quest is no walk in the park.

You have to keep asking if there's another way, and Jowan will mention mages, then Alistair will suggest the tower.

Thanks Marika.  I could not remember First Enchanter Irving's name for the life of me this morning.  He's the guy!  :D
