This is vexing me to no end:

When exploring the forgotten oasis, I saw into a little a valley from above. It was similar to Elizabeth's Garden, but the place had 3 or 4 altar-like structures, which were covered with skulls. After examining the place from above for a while, I decided to continue on the upper level and come back later to explore it.

And now I can't find it anymore. I even went back to a former save and tried to repeat my way.

 

I'm absolutely sure the valley was there and I wasn't dreaming. Anyone knows what I'm talking about?

That place is always confusing. Fortunately, I know my way around it now, but I still get lost from time to time. Worst map in the game. 0/10 would not visit again.

 

The only area I know that had pillars or at least some broken pillars is where the Spiders lurk.
