Hi guys. Im new here and have had some good games with quite a few of you (and blocked a few also) in daimp. Only been playing mp a few months and trying to figure out some things.

1. Can you build all chracters to %100 crit chance ? If yes, which one from each class is most diffcult to build for this preticuliar purpose? Why? If not, what can i sub in place to make up for the missing percentile since i cant make him/her %100 crit

2. What levels (constitution/willpower/cunning) should you disconcern HOK in armor/accessaries when building up cunning in these chracters for perilous runs?

Hope my questions were clearly stated and thank you all for the info.

You need 200 cunning to achieve 100% crit chance. Each point of cunning awards you .5% crit chance, and .5% ranged defense. (ranged defense however caps at 80%, so when you hit 160 cunning, that part of it will max out)

 

You can promote any of the rogues to achieve this lofty goal, but personally, I think Isabella is the easiest and clearly more over powered of the 5 rogue kits. I do enjoy playing the Alchemist now that she's been buffed. Her bombs are insanely good. She's also better at generating support xp.

 

Outfit your rogues with at least 1 HOK ring, a stamina amulet, and the best weapons you can get your hands on. Group with folks that play support roles like keeper, and you'll get through Perilous.

 

I really like the exploding offhand dagger, Audacity for the Duelist and for the Alchemist too, though often I'm using Lady Jocasta's Revenge which has heal on hit for the Alchemist (die, and anything walks over your bomb, and you get back up). For main hand, get yourself a Dragon Dagger.

Superior stamina amulet gives +50 stamina for rogue and warriors, making max stamina of kit of 150.

Cunning boosts crit chance, every 1 point gives 0.5% chance.
Next is crit chance from rings. Superior ring can give 10%, you can stack both of them.
Next are upgrades for weapons, some of them can give crit chance (in general offensive leather slot)
Next are builds and classes.
Passives like Sneak attack (rogues) doubles your crit chance when flanking target.
There is a passive which makes a critical hit 100% when target is sleeping or at panic.

About HoK
More promotions you have, less HoK you need. On typical mage and rogue class which in general either avoids damage or just has barrier amount of heal on kill around 5-10% is in my opinion perfectly fine.
For warriors I would suggest around 20%+. You can change it for damage maybe around 80-100 promotions in cunning/con and stay at 10%

You can put a stamina amulet on any of your classes.  Likewise cunning+ accessories.

Stamina amulet is only for warriors and rogues.  It isn't an option to select on mages as they have mana instead of stamina and the amulet would do nothing.

There are certain instances that you can guarantee a critical hit in this game such as deathblow passive combined with war horn/terrifying fury on the reaver to auto crit panicked targets.  You can also guarantee critical hits with knife in the shadows from stealth on appropriate rogues.  Other passive such as sneak attack and opportunist that double your crit chance when flanking enemies will go along way in helping you crit.  T3 weapon mods also have the ability to increase your crit chance substantially.  With your 80 cunning, (2) 10% crit chance rings, cunning amulet and T3 weapon upgrades you could get pretty close to 100% chance on most characters with the right weapon upgrade choices.

Total promotions. You can get cunning promoting any of the rogues. It doesn't matter which you do. When you promote a character, let's say Alchemist, it gives ALL of your characters 1 cunning.

I have a 48% crit chance Punched by the Maker bow.


There is a weaker bow you can get to 54% crit chance.

Base crit damage bonus is only 40%. so dps wise (on most classes) 1 point of cunning = .4 * .05 = .02 where as willpower is always .05.

My preferences:

Alchemist + Duelist: 4% Dragon Dragger + 10% Ring

Assassin: 8% 2x Dragon Daggers

Reaver: 11% Maul base

Katari + Avvar: 11% Maul base, and up to 30% as necessary with weapon upgrade or ring

Lego + Templar: 16% Caliban, and up to 30% as necessary with weapon upgrade or ring

Mages (except Keeper): 8% Dragon + 10% Ring

Keeper: None. Static Cage + Disruption Field or Barrier Ring

Hunter + Archer: Cruel Redemption or Dragon bow Base only. Longshot (not on Hunter) and/or Critical Damage rings (Hunter x2).
