Imho, any MQE is a damn good thing. You can literally get the gold killstreaks medal with him against Rippaz if you catch spawns. Disruptor Acolyte, Incinerate, Arc Nade, winner of a combo.
The MQE is by far the most powerful in the engineer class, incenerate plus Arc nades is so powerful.
But my favourite is the vanilla human engineer with a troll drone build. Together with the Adas that build totally wrecks phantoms, they Always go for the drone and the Adas staggers them.

The turret sucks ass and is not needed when I can headshot enemies. Scanner is part of the game and saying it is for scrubs when you recommend I use heavy barrel on Arc Pistol. Uh huh... You're using Reegar (and for some reason have a deadweight Mattock as well). I'm using Arc Pistol. You won't even reach the target to begin applying the cheese before they've been carpet bombed and headshotted to death from the LZ.

Can't wait until I have enough armor mitigation that I can run him with incendiaries. I'm amazed how he wrecks the house with non-optimized gear.
You don't need armor mitigation with the SE and Incendiary ammo. For one thing, you can just run with a high damage-per-shot weapon like the Paladin or Saber, or you can use a projectile weapon like the GPS, Venom, or Graal. Plus, with the incendiary glitch, you will do a ton of armor damage with any weapon.

Besides, it doesn't prevent it. It merely doesn't amplify it like the other evolution does.

as Deerber said. I don't intentionally build around the glitch because I don't like playing like that. Also considering that I use disruptor ammo on her sometimes.
