How about having people who only want to play the MP and not the SP, that they, the MP crowd, should they be forced to play a SP campaign of lets say at the fastest can beaten in about 40 hours, that they have zero interest in playing multiple times to get all the character classes, weapons, armor, mods, gear, maps, credits, and etc to make the MP more fun and all the MP DLC is at store that can only be accessed about 30 hours into the SP.
How about SP unlocking all MP assets.

You know, I've been playing GTA: Online since launch and the whole time I've wished there was a way that the hundreds of millions of dollars that I have on my single player characters that I have literally nothing left to buy with could go to use with my Online character who's constantly getting new updates of stuff to buy.
So yeah, I could get behind Single Player stuff going towards Multiplayer.

It would be faster than the RNG store.

Agreed. I support the OP of this thread. Anything but the RNG store. Lets make it happen Bioware.

40 hours for a full MP manifest? Man that's much better than the grind it is now.

I thought the RNG in ME3 was bad. Then I played DAMP omg....either way I'm good with the OP. MUCH better than RNG.

I fully endorse this idea.

MP crowd supports this idea like you wouldn't believe.
Unlock everything by playing SP for a couple of dozen hours?

Hahaha! I see through it: You just want to get rid of us ASAP. But it doesn't work like this, because the MP "crowd" likes the gameplay and doesn't need the unlock grind to stick to the game.

I maxed my manifest at around 600 or 800 hours (can't remember), so 40 hours would be a pittance

OP, the only thing that was locked away was a tiny 5 second, ambiguous cutscene, that didn't really change anything.
It would be the equivalent of a free random basic character level in multiplayer. Although I strongly believe that no one should be forced to play multiplayer, and no single player content should be locked away, the amount of hysteria that that one aspect drew was completely over the top.
Personally I think that there should be a little encouragement to play MPer. Nothing should be locked away, but the huge number of people who tried MPer because of galactic readiness, and surprisingly found they loved it, was a massive winner for Bioware. Give some items or something from SPer. You can do the reverse as well to cut down boring exploration. From the leak, it sounds like they have this well thought out.
edit : as an aside I don't support a 40 hour manifest unlock. That would be silly and make me lose interest in the game faster.

Congratulations OP you have just made the manifest grind take literally about 20x less time investment than it does on average in ME3MP, and accessible by a means that pretty much everyone who buys the game is going to undergo anyway.
You can't even get butthurt and counter-troll in a cognizant manner. Typical SP intellectual peasant.

He tries to act hard and play like he hates MPers. Talks like hes all bitter. He really loves us though and wants to join up. Come on op....hop on ME3 and start blastin your way through bronze. Better late than never. Just use power based classes until your weapons are better.
Rooms, skill levels, and groups for everyone.

Making the whole progression take longer than 40 hours is better for the longevity of the game.
It's just great how glorious the backfire of this thread is.

Yeah I know this is largely non-serious. But at the same time I know that this trolling isn't constructive (despite being, at times, hilarious) because the very thing these players probably fear about multiplayer is other players mocking them and that is exactly what they are being shown here. The ME MPer community was actually, by and large, awesome but some people will be turned away from ever trying it due to these threads.

If this is true, video games are the last of things to worry about here. I don't think the threads ever got really bad tbh. If anything the SP fans were the mean ones and attacking people. Still, thin skin like this could greatly impact someones quality of life as a whole and thats a lot more important than an stupid internet forum...especially one for a video game. That's not funny....that's a serious problem that someone needs to seek help over.

They don't have to be gravely offended or emotionally scarred to decide they don't want to spend time playing with people they deem jerks. Some MPer communities are quite crap and they can drive players away from a game. As I said, I thought the ME3 MPer community was awesome, and these troll threads are not a good representation of it.

Oh it'll get worse in the future as the same group of people start blaming anything they don't like being announced about SP on MP.
On the DA:I forums people blamed the 8 active ability limit on MP, despite MP not even using that limit and there being no real technological reason why you couldn't have more than 8 abilities in MP.

Since ME has always been an SP game first and foremost, you don't think its justified that people were angry that in order to get the supposed best ending to their SP game that they bought for SP because it was the end of a saga and the MP was just seen as tacked on at first they had to sink even a few hours into MP to get it? Then having Bioware blatantly lie and say it didn't have an impact? These stupid wars amongst the SP and MP crowds aren't justified, but SPers being angry over that fact is justified. MP tried invading SPs territory, when SP was there first =P
Thankfully going by the leak there won't be that issue this time around. It actually seems like they are going the approach of having SP impact multiplayer a bit. However, don't think its going to be so easy. EA wants that microtransaction moneh.

Most MPers wont dispute that the scene needing MP or the iOS game was stupid.
Though keep in mind this thread was born out of another thread where the OP suggested that you get actual optional benefits for playing MP. It would be like getting resources gained from ME2 planet scanning by playing a MP mode. You can still get them in the SP game and doing the boring planet scanning.
I'm actually against either SP or MP having influence over each other, but people are acting like everybody wants content locked unless you play a specific game mode.
Nobody except trolls are asking for that.

Well OP, I'll bite .. NOOOOOOO
I liked the RNG store grid, if I got everything that quickly, I would probably lose interest faster.
On my main account, I still have around 15 URs to go
Edit: Lol at OP for the assumption that players who primarily play MP don't also play SP
