You don't think MP gamers should get a few more credits per pay period?   You don't think alpha males are attractive?  I'm a troll? ouch....

I can safely say that I do not think alpha males are attractive =P

Well OP, I'll bite .. NOOOOOOO

I liked the RNG store grid, if I got everything that quickly, I would probably lose interest faster.

On my main account, I still have around 15 URs to go

The RNG grind was just below reasonable until the last DLC, if you started from the beginning. It is too much for someone who bought the game 6 months after release, and ridiculous for someone who bought it 18 months afterward.

Thankfully, neither does my wife.

She likes you because of your sense of humor.  I've seen you are more than capable of being on the giving and receiving end of jokes.  Seems like a quality that is lost these days so it stands out when you see it.

Sure is fun to be the boss though!

I admit, it is a little extreme now with all the added content, trying to get everything, let alone maxed out, takes quite awhile.

I still enjoy it though, as when I play on different accounts I tend to unlock and use stuff I wouldn't on my main account. Brings some more diversity into play

Well I am VP of my company so I understand the boss stuff. I play video games for fun, and one side on here feels like they have the right to dictate what's fun, and the other is just fooling around.

Agreed. I support the OP of this thread. Anything but the RNG store. Lets make it happen Bioware.

The whole point of MP is the RNG store. That's why it has SP linkages - to make people play MP and herd then to the RNG store, ideally investing real money for the honour.

I do admit some RNG is great. It was fun to have a Black Widow III the first weekend this game came out.

Some RNG is nice, as long as there is some insurance that it's not going to screw you.

It was especially bad back when you could continue getting character XP cards even with all classes at level 20.

I had soooooo many reset powers as well.  I think its weak that consumables didn't cap like the D Pad items did.  You should be able to max out the garbage ones and get only good ones after if you chose to commit to the long haul and do that.

You can still get character XP cards for several different packs ... damn you SP!

*Edit, in this instance SP refers to 'Spectre Pack' .. thought I should clarify that before the virtual nukes get launched

I nodded my head in agreement the entire time I read that.

It would be faster than the RNG store.

Yep, all of my yes OP. I'm sure you never saw that coming.

You realize most of us put in close to a thousand hours to max a manifest of weapons.

They did have a purpose for the power leveler a that wanted a high N7 rating. When they were mostly replaced with level 4 ammo cards, I didn't see why those cards couldn't have also gave XP. Mostly, I wish that the store would have either expanded by giving more cards a pack, or had an increasing percentage of Rare and Ultra Rare items as more stuff was added.

Absolutely not.  MP is about the depth is offers in the characters and combo system on top of sifting though and meeting really great and like-minded players that you have a blast playing with as you get the game locked down and beat it down on its hardest settings.  The RNG is a negative on the MP and took away from the experience as it caused players to be frustrated.

Also...pwning noobs and giving a way for MP gamers to get more content.

I don't think BioWare should force people who are only interested in playing MP to play the SP.  And I don't think people should be rewarded in MP for playing the SP.

Time is money VP.  They have to earn that and show they came to play.  After that...absolutely.

On the note of unlocks in ME MP:

Dear ME3 MP store,

Just give me the f***ing Assault Rifle Amp III already. I've bought about 15 packs.

I felt like coming out of retirement for a few games. It's a good thing I had a ton of credits so I can finally get an AR amp.

You misunderstand. I'm not saying people play MP to get trolled by the RNG. That would be ridiculous.

I'm saying that from EAs perspective, the value of MP is the RNG store. This is why MP got so much free DLC - it more than paid for itself via the RNG store. That MP is fun is all well and good - but the money is made on the RNG store. This is why EA has an incentive to get people to play MP (if they're SP only fans) but not to get people to play SP (because there's no added cash store).
