As a forum dweller and occasional troll it pains me to say this, but some of us are batsh*t insane.  And as such our advice is not to be trusted.

 

 

 

By all means, continue to listen and nod your head, but when some forum poster is ranting on about some inevitable nonsense, just file it away in the loony bin.  I won't call out specific threads, because everyone is a bit loony on some topics, including me.

 

 

If it were up to me the player character would be an adept leading an army of superior biotic gods against the lesser soldier races.  But I have a god complex and am not to be trusted.

Bioware allowed a Qunari mage to lead the Inquisition, in all fairness to Bioware they did need some convincing. I expect more logical failings and bad ideas in Andromeda.

 

I haven't seen any threads demanding to be an alien, maybe the BSN is learning.

That's not a huge stretch actually.

 

If a giant hole opened up in the sky and demons started pouring out, I would accept a bunny rabbit as the leader of the Inquisition if it looked like it was getting things done.

Clearly they aren't going to listen to everyone, although it would be hilarious what kind of Frankenstein monster abomination of contradictions a game could be if a company did try to listen to everything us non-professional game designers said to convince them we somehow know better than them.

 

They will listen to the ideas that already fit into their already established vision for the game, but nothing more. Nor should they because we aren't the ones who have to program our desires into the game.
