This place is like an Asylum actually, BioWare leaves it up so crazies can be contained while they interact with fans on their official twitter accounts.
@Bioware - Don't listen to everyone on the forums

THAT WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE MY 20000TH POST
No warning points? Hax!
Bioware allowed a Qunari mage to lead the Inquisition, in all fairness to Bioware they did need some convincing. I expect more logical failings and bad ideas in Andromeda.
I haven't seen any threads demanding to be an alien, maybe the BSN is learning.
Oh, they demanded to be allowed to play as alien in ME:A despite BioWare clearly stating that the PCs will be human only. I'd look for the thread but I can't be bothered with that today.
Because BioWare comes here for feedback...
Yeah... all the time... and they reply to our concerns and discuss plot holes with players and ... then I usually wake up.
It would be cool to see that concept more explored. In both DA and ME franchises we're exposed to the culture of muggles fearing the super powered people taking over. I want to see how they depict it when they actually do take charge, and the ones without superpowers are relegated to second class citizen status.
I doubt they would do it in ME. But I wish they would. The replay value between playing a biotic and a non biotic would be huge.
I think one or two of the stories I told you about deal with exactly that. ![]()
This message is falling on deft ears. No one from bioware actually reads anything on these forums. You can't blame them either with how vitriolic & self entitled the majority of the posts are on this forum.
I can blame them and said so quite often. It is their forum. If they can't get it in order, then that's on them. They have the power, the tools and the time. They just don't care because in here we can write whatever we want and it will rarely get out. They are more active on Twitter, Reddit and other sites because there they do not have full control and have to play nice to keep their reputation.
Also, this forum is -fine-. Compared to the rest of the internet, BSN is cute & cuddly.

I'm just bored of the "super powered people are persecuted" thing. I've overexposed myself to it, really. X Men is my favorite comic and House of M is one of my favorite X Men arc concepts, despite some of the aspects involved that I didn't like.
I'm just musing that I'd like to see the flip side, but I do understand the improbability of it in the ME universe.
Think of the potential biotic supremacy being more like the attitude of Russel Edgington musing over the concept of "equal rights" for vampires.
WHYYYYEH!, would we seek... equal rights?
so good.

To be fair we asked if we could be aliens before they said it was human only I haven't seen anything since they announced it so I'm not sure where you got this idea.No warning points? Hax!

HA HA HA HA..., you think they listened anyway..., ha ha ha, now that's just funny.
Cheers
Yeah, it's not like we got playable races in Inquisition... Oh, wait... I think the deal is this, they read posts, and go, heh, yeah right, and disregard them. If I were the executive producer on this project, given the backlash and the way some people on these boards got, I'd prohibit my staff from posting here. Then I'd bookmark a few of the nastier threads and when someone came on here screaming about how we're not listening, I'd just throw the links in a post as I locked the thread. I'm not sure I wouldn't insist on psych evals for people before they were allowed to create an account, considering stuff from the past.

Bioware takes the majority of their directly-applied feedback from the cons where the fangirls are the most overzealous and the romance-moronicness is at its peak. Having people stand directly in front of you and say with excitement "I loved the Citadel DLC" must be encouraging to keep doing that kind of ****, which is probably how we got the really fanservice-y moments of DA:I like Cassandra reading smut-literature.
Another thing is, Bioware is not that good at taking harsh criticism even if it's well argued and they are much quicker to listen to all the positive feedback and keep doing those things.
That's my observation at least.

It is impossible to listen to everyone, opinions are so different a key one is the Andromeda setting not everyone wanted that. I'm not against it.

Go nuts. Mass Effect was about the Milky Way Galaxy. The races in there, the reapers, its conflicts, stories, exploring it. Go to another galaxy. Maybe Andromeda? The presence of eezo there and the mass effect technology would be the tie-in.

Uh yeah, so? Casey Hudson hasn't been part of BioWare for a year now. Also, grammar error in the title.

As long as they don't listen to DAI fanboys and fangirls, then ME:A will be a great game.

The people on here are far from cute & cuddly. Do you know how I know? I went on a thread in the dai forums & entitled what we learned about dai. 90% of the posts were from neckbearded dao fanboys who never managed to take their nostalgia glasses off. It was one of the worst displays of ignorance & self entitlement Iv ever seen. What I read on there was almost enough for me to give up on these forums. Im dead serious. Though, I am still on here because there are people still here that aren't just jaded fanboys that I can have a proper conversation with, but man are they few & far between.

As a forum dweller and occasional troll it pains me to say this, but some of us are batsh*t insane. And as such our advice is not to be trusted.
I think they know ![]()
It is absolutely true that any post (including this one) should be able to be considered absolutely false.

Nope. You're just a fanboy, so clearly your enjoyment of their material clouds your judgment ... or something.
