I played this morning ehich was four hours ago for me, solo'd my weapon challenges, and they counted, along with all the XP

Seems ok to me gaining credit for Druff kills and demons. Also normal exp too.

Well...I ended up missing out on 3 of the 4 weapons challenges, due to the server problems.  Rather pissed that they didn't extend the challenge deadline by 12 hours, or so.

Things look good so far, I have gotten my xp from every game completed today on all difficulties. Thanks so much for correcting whatever was wrong bioware! Yay!

Pre-fix: I was having trouble getting Greataxe challenge to complete.  I had the other three.  I made one last effort before bed.  Somehow, it took.  It registered on the challenge.  No XP, No chest.  I am glad I did that final attempt.  Post fix, I did indeed get the chest, and pulled my first Longbow of the Griffon.  I have the Bow of the Dragon already, but am happy I kept trying for it.
