What modes should there be for multiplayer? Horde mode was fun, but can get boring or too routine. I liked what Gears of War did, by having PvP combat in a sense, you can have players (humans, turians, asari, etc) vs (husks, cannibals, cerberus agent, etc).
Multiplayer; What modes?

I'd like to have an invasion mode. You start off in the drop ship letting off as you fly down to the planet. then go on to an objective point before fighting your way back and then having to make the return trip. 1 person actually pilots as well as 1 or 2 mounted guns. Part of the ground mission could be in the "Mako" they are so big on bringing back.

Bioware don't have a great track record of introducing new elements to its games. I was never interested in their co-op mode, don't see the point in shooting a bunch of mindless AI with random bioware fans.
If they had a mode where there was no special abilities and you only could equip guns and the difference in races was purely cosmetic... I could see myself playing that.

Something similar to DAMP, a team of four making their way through a map with five different zones.
And something similar to the multiplayer from Perfect Dark on the N64.

They won't go for this but I think the single biggest improvement they could make for the longevity of MPer would be to publish an editor that allowed players to create their own "missions" that could be played on PC (and other platforms if possible). Periodically they could collect the the best ones, make them official, and distribute them to all platforms.
I think they should be cautious about introducing too many modes. While I would love the variety if the player base is not high enough, fracturing it can make waiting for matches quite a bit longer and go into a spiral effect.

Story Mode. I love the games where the Multiplayer has a small story to go with it.

Did someone say PD for the N64?
^^
Anyway, I prefer more objective based modes that don't require a full team. This way we're not hampered by "trolls", AFKers, rage quitters, etc.

If it's anything other than a slight evolution of ME3MP, it will fail. Just look at the reception of DAIMP.
To be fair, ME gameplay is based on an action RPG shooter hybrid. It naturally lends itself to multiplayer while DA gameplay was originally a squad strategy rpg game which doesn't naturally lend itself to multiplayer. I didn't really like DAI gameplay but I still think a DA MP could have worked. But I don't think DAIMP really has anything to do with MEMP other than ask a worrying question over why the lag and netcode was so much worse.

A dedicated PvP arena with multiplayer clan support.
Try your luck in 3v3, 9v9, and 1v1 multiplayer battles.

Eww... why would anyone ingest such nasty things when stuff like gazpacho and pinchos exist? Absolutely disgusting.
