Yes, out of all the reasons to have less respect for someone, using the Acolyte is at the top of the list. People who use it are such selfish scrubs. How dare they score more than me! It is clearly do to them stripping shields and barriers with a gun instead of powers.

But there has also been discussion of the Acolyte representing poor balance in the game design. The fact that it's being ignored because "umadbro" and "loooooooool" arguments are easier to make doesn't mean that there isn't substantive discussion that could be taking place.

Have you ever seen me get upset about score? Well, I still think the Acolyte is lazy design. I also think it would have been nerfed if Bioware had any continuing stake in the ME3MP. Mind you, I'd like to see the power and weapon mechanics better balanced in general for next time.

Stolen proxy mines, that's an important distinction there.  They will serve to get QMR all hot and bothered and riled up.

 

I'll have to fill them with something other than explosives, though.  What's the micron rating on standard issue Quarian air filtration units?

.1 microns. Lots of different types of alcohol are pretty good at steriliziation....not that i've a preference or anything.

Anyway, lots of aspects of the MP are unbalanced. This is nothing new.
