but Paladin is OP.
This..
Also if you want to score style points , melee paladin has few competitors.
but Paladin is OP.
What about 'fun?'
Fun to play? Easy answer. Paladin.
Shield bonk >> anything and everything the QFE has.
That is a supir sicrit tale from back when I still wasn't a follower of the High Lord. Must have been 2012something...
I was, believe it or not, arguing that the FQE was useless since the paladin did everything she does betterThen a certain guy named Fortack came along and told me I was wrong. Since I wasn't above being shown wrong by a respected old-timer like he was, I asked him to show me. And he kindly did
And that was the start of my High Lord conversion
Just outscored QMI with Claymore FQE. Deerber, where is my trophy?
People who care about this issue should try the combat the heat wave challenge, where Paladin and QFE can team up for a direct comparison, either competitively or synergistically.

Will try tonight. Though, Paladin would have clear (unfair) advantage there. He has energy drain for shields.

All this talk about Paladins makes me want to bring out my Hammerdin.
For all you QFE experts out there, what is the most efficient way to take down bosses?
So assuming you have cryo, and incinerate, and maybe assume your using IA.
So if your fighting an armored target, is it to cryo>incinerate, cyro>incinerate over and over?
Or would it be to debuff with cryo once, then just incinerate till target is dead?
What if your fighting a barriered banshee, what's the most efficient way? Do you change your sequence once the barriers are gone?
What about big shilded bosses like atlas/prime?
Does this quesiton make sense? I've pretty much always just cryo>incinerate ever cast. Is that the most efficient for bosses?

But disruptor > all
Yeah her limitations vs protection (and vs blinky flashlights in general) are why I've resigned to only using electro-zap ammo on her.
So for my updated QFE: CB (debuff) + Executioner pow (zap prime) + reload cancel into Inc (zap burst) all seem to give me a decent rhythm.
Wut?

Aren't you alluding to her limitations vs well-protected biggies? Using electro-zap ammo to prime for tech bursts is where it's at...for me.

Cyro Blast then Cobra Missile Blast

Love the Executioner on her. You had to ruin it with the Tempest though....

It is pretty pointless to slap on a side-arm as a just-in-case measure. I'm late to the Executioner train, and I'm so used to worrying about ammo supply for single shot weapons. Yet I never come close to running out with it...rarely get off more than 10-15 shots before I'm able to hit an ammo box.
You win. Consider it outta the airlock...
That would depend on your build and your weapon. For my loadout, I know the best way to do is to CB -> Claymore -> incinerate -> Claymore and everything is dead aside from the 4 big bosses, against which you start the routine again... But you shouldn't really fight them until the end of the wave anyway.
Its a shame that Bioware made a Quarian engineer that is weak against SHIELDS. Apart from that lore-fail, she is a monster. I always underestimated cryo blast. Now I think it is great. Debuff, very short coold down. Even slows down Collector captains. Makes he ideal to wield claymore.

Yes, indeed.
At the moment I am playing her with a Pistol. So I cannot bring the Acolyte as sidearm.
And naturally I prefer Incindiary Ammo over Disrupter with her since it brings down bosses faster.
Quarian Ice Queen is the superior PPR wielder.

With a high cooldown bonus, one cryo blast debuff cycle is long enough to squeeze in two incinerate casts along with two tech bursts or fire explosions. For efficiency as a caster this is the way to go. This of course only works when I run baby's first claymore because the CD bonus with the talon is near maxed. To slaughter in style employ a claymore.

Another adept... Good, good!

Jokes apart, nice to know you kept an open mind. It's usually rewarding ![]()
Also yeah, it's a lore fail that she can't handle shields. Not that I care much about it, personally, as no shield can withstand a Claymore shot to the face ![]()

Yeah, that's just further proof that she's supposed to be using heavy weaponry!
While I agree that it's weird that shields are her weakness, I also don't think every kit needs to conform to the racial stereotype - or even worse - to the precedent set by SP party members (for example, I don't like how all the drell are biotic martial artists).
Also, there's some fridge logic fridge brilliance to it: as the Flotilla is fighting the geth in SP, all the engineers that can handle shields are needed there. ![]()

But this (lore fail ) was just dumb. A quarian that would struggle against Geths? Whatever happened to ""Go for the optics, Chatika! Go for the optics"?

Quarians face other threats than the geth, and even against them, soldiers work as a team. I'm sure they have plenty of combat engineers specilized in taking down shields (like that other quarian engineer we have), just as they obviously have combat engineers specialized in taking down big armor.
EDIT: Also, I've never, ever felt like the FQE struggles against the geth. CB is still great, weapons fire drops shields fast and incinerate destroys Pyros, Bombers and Primes.

Come on now Aedolon. Curse biovar for runing my mutiplayer version of Tali. Is your other id BiowareMod5? :-)
