Personally I am saving mine in the hope the next dlc will release new weapons.  Then I can spend 3 hours straight raiding the store chests

I dropped around 240k on the class chests and i'm back up to 100k so far waiting for the dlc to drop for dem new items. The only thing I need still is a superb belt of health I guess. A few weapons but i'll live without them.

There's nothing left I need, only a few things I'd like due to cool factor. So yeah, I'm saving, but not fanatical about it.

Indeed. I'll buy chests again when I need more materials.

Saved about 300k so far.  I think there will definitely be new weapons when the DLC releases... but I won't spend any gold until they bring back the class chests.  Don't spend money on the regular chests (even when new weapons are available)... you are just throwing your gold away.

What is there to spend it on? For me, nothing these days.
I did get a second Calivban two days ago when I gave in and bought 10 medium chests


I'm mixed about new weapons, more higher damage equipment will destroy this game unless we get perilous+ mode.

I've stopped spending my gold.  I might spend some if we get class chests again, since I'm still missing a good second dagger.  But, if I wind up with a dragon dagger, I'd probably wait to spend any until we get more DLC.

I've blown all my gold whenever class chests have come out in a vain attempt to get my hands on a purple HoK. Haven't played as much since the last class chest weekend so I only have 60k in reserve, which I'm saving mostly in case new items are added to the loot table at some point.

I guess I could roll for a second superb ring of guard pen / stagger. With that said all I do is save.

I am. But mostly becausse I am tired of spending tons of gold and getting nothing. I am still waiting for nice purple dagger. I am playing with Carta Punisher for close to 5 months now.

I am saving for either class chests to try for the shield of the emperor or the mats chest to try for more of the good cotton, just in case any dlc that may or may not come out has new weapons. I have over 70 dragon calls, so I don't buy those chests anymore.

I am up to 140K, I'd have a lot more if I was actually able to play yesterday.

Class chests for any specific item is a pain however finding 1` dagger out of 3 better then carta claw is not that bad as it is a guaranteed weapon drop.

I feel your pain.  I did then entire poison challenge with two of these on the alchemist.

I am saving, have about 30k right now.  Not sure what I am going to try to get with the class chests, but that is what I would spend it on.

The chest I got from druffalo hunt gave me Cruel Redemption.  I suppose the Shield of the Emperor is the only non-unique dragon item I really can think of that I need at the moment.  Another crit damage ring or life drain ring wouldn't be bad though.  Of course, the item highest on my wish list right now is the unique Staff of the Dragon.

Word is, new stuff is on the way. What that might be, no one knows. I'm holding out for some new weapons. If there's new difficulty, there'll likely be new weapons. The Dragon weapons were at least something new, but they weren't that big of an upgrade.

 

I have 350k saved, no reason to buy anything new (have everything I need in terms of gear). I'll keep saving!

When it comes to gaming I am a compulsive saver. I have over a million gold now. I don't really need any item so it is easy to save up, but even when I was still missing several items I always made sure I had at least half a million saved just in case (I wish rl were like this!).

Saving, mostly because buying large chests is a waste of money. All i still need are some shields and 1 handed weapons, i've got pretty much every other high level unique. So instead of wasting all my money on large chests i'd rather wait for the next time class chests pop up and dump all the money on warrior chests then.
