I've had this game for the 360 since the day it was released, never had an issue running it. Over the past few weeks, ever since the dlc's were installed, my game freezes when trying to complete Cole's amulet quest. I've deleted cache, even reinstalled the game, nothing fixes it. I know I'm not the only person having this issue, any ideas on when there will be a fix? This is definitely a game-breaking bug as Cole is required in other quests, makes it difficult to complete companion quests with this issue.

Did you reload to an earlier save?
Apparently this is not uncommon: http://forum.bioware...eezing-my-xbox/
Now I don't mean to get all PC master race since I do play on consoles too, but the Devs have been saying this game is PC optimised so I very well doubt they will fix a console only issue which really sucks… you can try the little troubleshoots people have suggested but most freeze related issues are linked to bad/corrupted saves.

Tried loading old saves and replaying, doesn't fix it. Also tried creating new games, still freezing up at that same spot. And I normally prefer the pc versions, just haven't gotten around to buying it for the pc yet. (I do have the previous 2 games, all dlc's AND the ME set, with all dlc's, for pc and Xbox both.) Huge Bioware fan, but this particular issue is killing my love for this game. And until recently, I hadn't seen ANY major issues.

Well...s***.
Are those old saves quick saves and auto saves? Try doing a hard save and loading from that before you give the amulet. Auto saves can get a bit bugged. Try advancing further in the game. There might be some funky checkpoint thing going on.

I generally delete autosaves, they waste space and never occur at a good spot anyway. So I'll just randomly try talking to him throughout the playthrough and see. It bugs me having quests left undone though, ugh.
