I mean the ending we choose has a huge impact for humans. Can we play an "android" or some sort if we choose synthesis ?

I don't think so as because it's not linked to the previous games. It'll be an entirely seperate story

And even if that choice would have an impact on the state of world you still don't need to import save.
It can be simply introduced in game tutorial and can be as simple as "choosing a page" from the history book.

Well, they said at an interview sometime ago that we should keep our saves. But maybe they given up this save import thing because most of the players played in the consoles and this game will be only for next gen. I don't know if importing a save across platforms is even possible. But they should make a dragon age keep for mass effect andromeda, is way more easy and the saves can be shared across platforms that way. But make the site upload our old saves this time bioware.

no save import for this game, but maybe if the trilogy was remastered for the ps4 and xone, a save import could be used for the next game after this one depending on what Bioware will do

My guess is no save game import.
They're sending us to an entirely new galaxy to get away from anything remotely related to choices made in Mass Effect 1-3 anyway. They're gonna be setting it up so that they don't need to canonize any major choice, meaning the ship will leave before the ending to ME3.

I don't think there will be any save imports, it'd be kinda hard on console since it's a new console. There might be a Keep style thing, but I can't see any reason why they'd do that, since it's in a different Galaxy

It would be better to just make canon one ending and build on from there.

No, my guess is BW will not have a save game feature to use between future games at all. ME games will be stand alone. Stories all set in the same ME universe (Andromeda and beyond) with an ending state which will be either win or fail with very little variation (win being canon). I doubt whether sequels will even have the same protagonist, but the story will evolve over time until they run out of ideas or they flop commercially. MP will probably feature heavily. It might even turn into more of a MMOTPS with a tacked on SP. We may even see a ME remastered reboot with Shepard somewhere in ME's future...
...pessimistically speaking of course...

Assuming that, even with the stories not being interconnected, the choices and events of the first trilogy still have an impact on this game - which is possible - then I imagine that no, there won't be a direct save import. If anything gets imported - say whether or not the geth and/or quarians are still alive or whether or not the genophage was cured, which are specific choices that could have a significant impact on certain characters - I imagine they'll handle it via a method similar to the Dragon Age Keep.
For the record I do see this as something that should be included. It could be very broad and non specific; it doesn't matter whether Wrex or Wreav ended up in charge of the krogan or whether Eve survived, but whether or not the genophage was cured is kind of a big deal, especially if we have a krogan squadmate as the leak says. Whether or not the Hanar homeworld was saved is another thing that should be included, though it doesn't matter whether we did it with or without saving that Spectre we were working for, it will(and should) impact the attitude of any hanar or drell with us.
It's things like that that should be included. Who Shepard slept with, whether they were paragon or renegade, specific lives they saved or spared or ended, that kind of thing doesn't really matter. But what species are and aren't alive? Those kind of decisions should have an impact on Andromeda regardless of whether it ties into the Shepard's story or not.

The whole point of setting the game in another galaxy is to avoid carrying over the endings of ME3...
Forget about the endings.
I'm more concerned with the things leading up to the endings that could have a serious impact on the game.

Did Bioware say that choices are respected via not acknowledging any of them, or that choices are respected by acknowledging them based on what the player did?
The answer to that will answer the thread question.

The former, not said in precisely that way, (something about no canon and choices being respected I think), but from what we know so far about MEA that is the direction they might be heading in.

I remember an interview where BioWare explained that keeping all decisions made over the course of the three games became a lot of work because there were so many combinations and possible endings.
I really doubt they'd willingly import that clusterfuck into a brand new game. At most I'd could imagine something similiar to Dragon Age Keep but how would that work for the Refusal ending? How do you write a story that's basically the same with and without Reapers present?
No, they'll start fresh with no savegame imports. New game, new galaxy, new ship, new crew, new story.

It's not about characters staying alive or not, it's about civilizations being absent or not (krogans, quarians, geth, ...) or even the organics being part synthetic (synthesis)

Yep, some people only concentrate on the details, I was thinking more about the big decisions.

My guess is that the ark ship will leave before Shep made any choices influencing any of those things.
We'll probably solve the Genophage issue in route to Andromeda, since apparently cures aren't terribly difficult to come by if you actually take the time to try.

Which is why we probably leave for the Andromeda galaxy during the events of ME3 and not after.

I am personally really hoping there isn't any type of save import because of all the issues with the first three games, but if they do have some level of import I am pretty sure it would be just to setup the start of the game and have no impact on the game itself or maybe a minor influence on an optional dialogue somewhere in the game.

I'll prefer that they create something similar to The Keep.
... and call it Club Afterlife!

Its not possible to do that, there is no way without breaking the lore.
