I like mini games being included. For instance, I still go back and play pazaak from KOTOR and Triple Triad from FF8.

If we're space cowboys on an unexplored frontier, we damn well better be able to play cards.
Seriously, this game needs something like Quasar, and the Witcher games have had decent success with their card/gambling minigames.

I love the dice game from the 2nd Witcher game. Love it!

I'm not quite as enthusiastic, but I certainly enjoyed it.
That kind of thing would be even more fun if we're actually playing at a table, dealing and holding cards against squad members kinda like Red Dead.

Too involved and impersonal for my tastes. I'd rather have a simpler game of chance that could allow for some amusing cycled character interaction in the background.
