The  highest complaints for DA2 were.

The recycled Areas,

Rushed third-act.

More customisable options for hawke.

We saw what DA II could have been with the DLC..

So pretty please, with cherries on top, remake/finishthegameproperlythistime, Bioware!

When it comes to remakes I doubt Bioware has a choice. Bioware are a dev team. EA for all intents and purposes pretty much own the game. And EA aren't really fans of remakes.

This, and they probably have their hands full with ME:A which I will wait to care about.. and then DA4

Plus what I loved about DA2 was how it required good teamwork for NM mode. I'd be afraid of them trying to use DAI resources for DA2. Ew..

Wait for 10 to 20 years if EA find it interesting and profitabe but tbh, no.

Unless they vastly improve the Frostbite character creator and its assets, I don't think I'd really want it. It's impossible for me to recreate my Hawke using DAI's character creator. I can't get him to look anything like this. :( With mods, I can at least get his hair to look similar, but it's the facial structure and facial hair that are the real problem.

However, if they stop Fenris from looking like an emo Final Fantasy reject, give Isabella pants, and maintain the DA2 look and lore of the qunari, maybe I'd reconsider...

I think it should be up to Isabela whether she wants to wear pants, no?

She might disagree.

They made her wear pants in the multi player..

My immersion...!!!

I support this.

It's not entirely unreasonable. For instance, Baldur's Gate got enhanced editions for both the first and second games. With better graphics and new areas.

From a different company, they remastered Fable and added new content.

As much as I enjoyed DA2, I wouldn't want a remaster, I'd want a proper remake. DA2 made as it should've been, not rushed. Even keeping the old graphics engine, I'd love actual properly-made areas. No recycled dungeons. A Kirkwall that doesn't get tiresome to be in, and actually changes over the years. Legacy and MotA were wonderful fun, and the rest of DA2 could be like that.

I think there was a couple of quests that were cut (where templars ambush Hawke/Beth in Act1 for using magic?) that would be great to include. Act3 could be properly fleshed out. Orsino not a boss if you side with the mages (or given a proper reason for it).

Plus a couple of alternate outfits for the team. There are some great mods for new outfits. I think Fenris has DAI's Keeper robes. It just gets a little stale having them in the same outfit all the time.

Fenris

Spoiler

This sort of thing would be perfect for Isabela (imo)

Spoiler

Not to mention having default m/f Hawke's hair and Morrigan's hair available in the cc. (Seriously, every second elf can have Morrigan's hair, but Hawke can't??).

I know this is like asking for the moon on a stick, so it won't happen. Nice to think about sometimes though.  ^_^

Remake sounds like they could change the dialogues and quests to be far less offensive than in the original. The combat was far better in da2 for utilizing your team and if we had fb3 ai that would just be horrendous.

The point of a remaster if you will is just to polish the game and give it new life in form of graphics and a few enhancements/tweaks. It would be just waste of time and money as it is now. DA:II is completely playable and bug-free, atleast the last time i went through it. It is what it is, nothing more to be done about it. A remake is even more of a time and money sink for a game that didn't really do well. So why would they?
