[Terminator Force]

After several attempts to name my new Salarian Engineer, only to by immediately be followed by a disconnect after all that typing each time... I've finally decided on the the closest letter to select. "Z" it is - for all of them from now on. Going to have an army of Z's taking on the Reaper threat soon enough. I can't wait.

My Novaguard is named after my Shepard, who I do not consider to be canon in any way.

My Krogan Soldier is named Zarr, based on the character I write stories about. . .I'll be putting those up in a few days.

 

My Paladin is named- I forget, actually.

 

All other characters I either name randomly based on race naming conventions, or in honor of people I've played alongside who have performed well with the kit. I attempt to match their color and build on those kits so I do not forget, as my memory is horrible.

What I like to do is throwing swearwords and insults at my neighbours and see what they come up with.

Usually named after characters from other games/shows. One of them uses my real name, and one of them is named Cyonan.

 

The sexbot is named after my ex.

The moment the character unlocked.. What ever name, phrase, cuss word, movie reference popped into my head..they were that for the rest of MP. Some of them have really stupid names.

I slap the keyboard and if it ends up being pronouncable I respell it into a name

I only name my characters after they've distinguished themselves in battle. Until then, they're all DemiserofD. Then I try to come up with a cool color scheme and then pick a name that goes with that scheme. Occasionally they're a reference to something else, but usually I just make something up.

EX: My Fury is mostly white with tints of red; her name is Ezia. My Batguard, on the other hand, is bright red and gold, punches people in the face, and is named Heinrich. My QFI is blue and green and is named Rain, my Juggy is metal-orange and metal-green and is named Copper, my GT is white and blue and named Sastrugan...etc etc. I actually put quite a bit of effort into it. Helps me get into character.

When I first got into multiplayer I ended up naming them boring human things that fit with the class name. Like Ande Asskicker for my female human adept (and I think my nova guard was Ammo Amy before I decided to name them like that). Once I started unlocking alien characters I'd match them to similar names for that race in game. Now they're all weird things like Hammer Time for my krogan warlord or Wreck it Ralph for my kroguard. Mostly whatever I find funny when unlocking them or what seems fitting after playing them a bit. Overall I think I've put way too much effort into something no one else sees in-game.

Shadow- I named Alicia which is my wife's name. She is a lot like my wife, lurking in the shadows with sharp objects capable of inflicting grievous bodily harm.

 

Most of the others are random letters and numbers. Asari have names based on Roman and Greek Mythology as do the original turians. GI is named Death because well GI is a damn DPS carnival ride. Original Krogan are named Tremor and Quake because it seemed Kroganish to name them after natural catastrophes.

Krogan are all Urdnot [something that rhymes with Wrex]. Most others are some combination of Qs, Xs, Zs, vowels and occasionally other consonants. There are not enough Qs Xs and Zs in the lore.

I kinda wish the sexbot reminded me of my ex. If there were a female Batarian kit that romances Ravagers, her name would be all over it.

Yeah, I got all of the crazy and none of the hot, so best of both worlds.

Crazy chicks are always the best in bed and have the best assortment of pharmaceuticals as well. Unfortunately when you break up sometimes your **** gets set on fire or broken OR broken then set on fire in my case. I have to ask myself in cases like that "Was it worth it"? When her parents and friends received the lovely "video" we made together I'd like to think yeah.

The N7 characters are named after Avengers.  My Turians have Roman names.  My Asari all have names that start with e or a. My AIU is named Robyn, after the woman who sings the song Fembot.
